“I already made up my mind” Pambabasag ko sa katahimikang bumalot sa amin pagkatapos naming kumain.

I saw him gulp. Wait, kinakabahan ba to? Wow, I'm witnessing different unbelievable scenes this day. Awhile ago I've witnessed him being a mess and now he's nervous? Interesting huh?

“Before telling your decision, can I tell you something first?” He politely asked. I'm really seeing a different Ryker right now.

Because my curiosity strikes, I nod at him. “Fine. Go on and tell me that 'something'”

He inhaled deeply proving my hunch that he's really nervous.

I'm starting to like this day.

Inabot nya ang kamay kong nakapatong sa lamesa at marahan iyong pinisil. I looked at him and our eyes met. I can see different emotions in his eyes—nervousness, care, sadness, longing and something I can't name. Or I just don't want to name it at all. Ayokong umasa.

“Lourice, I know how flawed I am. I didn't treat you well and I admit that I am a jerk for being rude to you. I'm not the husband material that avery girl dream about. But baby, please give me a chance to prove myself to you. I'll try my best not to commit the same mistake that I did before. I want to be a h—husband to you and a f—father to our unborn child. Please?” Ryker's voice is soft, soothing but at the same time, painful because he's begging.

I've never saw him begging ang pleading like this. He's already teary eyed and his voice cracked. This scene makes Fierrah's heart to howl in pain.

Pinisil nya ang kamay ni Ryker. Pisil na hindi nakakasakit pero nagpapabatid ng isang pangako. She gently smiled at him...“I'm giving you a chance”

I saw how shock he is when I dropped the bomb. Ilang beses pang bumuka ang bibig nya na tila may sasabihin. “A—Are you s—sure? Y—you're not fooling around. Aren't you?” Di makapaniwalang tanong nya.

Parang bigla akong nairita sa naging reaksyon nya. Ugh! D*mn this pregnancy hormones. “You're asking me if I am sure? Parang ayaw mo pa sa desisyon ko ha. Okay fine. Edi wag!” Mabilis kong kinuha ang bag ko at tsaka tumayo. Walang lingon akong naglakad palabas ng restaurant.

Ramdam ko naman kanyang pagsunod sa akin. “W—wife that's not what I mean. Oh hell! Fvck! Please hear me out. I just can't believe that you're giving a chance. Wife please. I badly want your offer. Please don't take it back”

I felt my conscience eating me. Blame this hormones!

Huminga ako ng malalim at tsaka humarap sa kanya. “Fine, you're forgiven. Now, carry me and take me home. I feel so lazy to walk” fvck this childish act of mine.

Ramdam ko ang pag-angat ko sa ere dahil pinasan nya 'ko. Agad kong ikinawit ang magkabilang braso ko sa batok nya. Nagsumiksik ako sa dibdib nya dahilan para mas maamoy ko ang pabango nya at ang natural nyang amoy. Smells good.

Few moments later, I doze off to sleep.

NAGISING ako at sakto naman na nakarating na kami sa bahay namin.

“Welcome back wife” I heard him say.

Mabilis syang bumaba ng sasakyan para pagbuksan ako. “Do you want me to carry you? I won't mind, I swear”

Isang iling lang ang naging tugon ko at tsaka ko hinawakan ang kamay nya. “Ryker please don't waste this chance. This is probably your last chance because I don't know if I can still forgive you if you inflict pain towards me again. Hindi ako kasimbait Niya na kayang magpatawad ng paulit-ulit. Before entering our house, I want to warn you. Tao lang ako at napapagod din ako. Kung masasaktan lang ulit ako ng sobra sa piling mo, I'm sorry to say this but I won't think twice to accept Peyton's proposal. And that is to be with him.
