The week went by as normal with classes and spells and today was Friday. Which also meant a Quidditch game. This time it was against Slytherin vs. Hufflepuff.
As I got ready for the school day, I was already running a little bit late as I usually was, I saw Draco still in the common room.
"Hey, why aren't you heading to class yet?" I asked putting my robe on in a hurry.
"Because I was waiting for you. I have something I want to give to you." He said getting up from the couch and heading to his room.
I followed him to his room and he went to his closet and pulled out the jersey he showed me last week. The one where he was saving it for a special someone.
"Wait...Draco..is this the jersey? The one you were telling me about last week?" I said in shock. I can't believe he was going to let me wear it.
"Yes. It is the jersey. I want you to wear it for tonight's game." He said handing me the jersey.
"But, what about us not wanting anyone to find out?" I asked taking the jersey from his hands.
"Make up some excuse. Like you don't have any Slytherin gear and it was the last resort. They'll believe anything." He said pulling me into a hug.
"Let's go. We have to head to class before we're too late." He said and then kissed my forehead. I put the jersey in my bag and zipped it up tight.
We headed out of the common room and headed toward our classes. I made it just in time before class started.
"You were almost late..again." Ron whispered as I sat down next to him.
"But I'm not late so it's fine. I just woke up late." I whispered back. It was the truth. I did wake up late but if he knew I was with Draco, I'm sure he would flip out.
"You've been waking up late a lot this week." He said pulling out this book from his bag.
"Not all this week. I guess I'm still adjusting. It'll be better soon I promise." I said struggling to get my book out because I didn't want anyone to see the jersey. I wasn't ashamed or anything, we promised keep this a secret so we have to.
As I headed into my second class, I saw Draco who was sitting in his seats and mine was a couple rows ahead of his seat. As I passed by, he looked at me and headed me a note. When I got to my seat, I opened the note to read what it said.
"Meet me at the astronomy tower during lunch. I have a surprise for you."
-Draco
I put the note in my bag and turned around and gave him a smile right before class started.
My second and third class went really fast and now it was lunch time. As everyone was heading to the Great Hall, I made my way up to the Astronomy tower. I made it up to the top and saw Draco there with a a picnic all prepared for us.
"Aw. Draco you didn't have to." I gasped at the the sight of it.
"I need some good luck for the game. This is one way I thought I could get good luck. Is spend time with you." He said taking a seat on the blanket.
"It's against Hufflepuff. I'm sure you'll be fine. Why do you need good luck?" I said taking my seat next to him.
"You never know I guess." He said opening the picnic basket to reveal chocolate cover strawberries, sandwiches, and milkshakes.
