19- Amortentia

"Y/n. Wake up. I don't want you late...again." I heard Sadie as I opened my eyes and saw her jumping on my bed.

"I don't want to. I don't want to see Draco. It's going to hurt me too much." I said throwing the covers over my head.

"The best thing you can do is get up and take on the day. Not hide from it. Besides, my potions is coming into your potion class today so Maddox and I are going to be there." She said ripping the covers off my bed and dragging me out of bed.

She made me put on my uniform and then she did my makeup and hair. She pulled in front of the mirror to make me see my reflection.

"See, you look so pretty. You need to show to have everyone see how pretty you are. Even Draco." She said tucking a strand of hair behind my head.

I smiled and I took a deep breath. "I can do this." I said as I went and grabbed my books.

"Let's head to class." Sadie said as she opened the door. I giggled and we headed to our first classes.

✨Draco POV✨

I woke up all nice and warm in my bed. I got up like any normal day and got ready for class. I tightened my tie in the mirror when I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in!" I yelled and saw Maddox walk into
my room.

His eyes widened and he look like he was scared for some reason.

"Dude, are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost." I asked him while making eye contact with him through the mirror.

"Yeah..I'm fine. I..just came to get you so we can head to class." He said trying to get back to his normal self I'm guessing.

"We always do. What do you mean? I hate almost everyone in this school except you, Sadie, Blaise, Crabbe and Goyle." I said grabbing my books and wand before walking out of my room.

✨Maddox POV✨

Hearing Draco being back to his old self before he met Y/n didn't seem right. It didn't seem true. Like it was all fake. Yes, he did have his mind obliviated of the one thing that he cared for, it still didn't feel right.

He was back to his old, obnoxious prick again and I didn't miss it at all. He has changed so much and now he can't get it back.

✨Y/n POV✨

I walked into Defense Against the Dark Arts and sat next to Ron like normal.

"Y/n? Are you okay? You look like you've been crying?" Ron asked me as he stared at my eyes.

"All I will tell you and you can tell it to Harry and Hermoine was well but I obliviated Draco's memories of me so, no I'm not okay right now." I said trying to keep in my emotions while whispering.

"Why?" Ron asked me, shocked at the fact that I had the guts to do it.

"I needed to okay. Don't ask any more questions." I said harshly and then Snape walked in and class started.

After class was over, I headed over towards Potions and waited outside for Sadie.

"Hey, there you are. Let's get inside." Sadie said walking up to me.

We walked into the classroom where a whole bunch of students were scattered around at different tables. I looked over to my left and saw him. Draco.

"Let's go to take a seat next to the trio." Sadie said as she tugged my arm because she noticed I saw Draco.

We headed over to sit next to Ron, Hermoine and Harry. We talked until Professor Slughorn walked in the room.
