I see you walk past
And I don't know what to think
Are you okay?
It's been a hard year,
But has it been harder for you?
I don't know how to say it,
But I hope you're okay.
It's the way you don't talk anymore
The way you walk through the door
Late and I can't help but stare
It's not because I think it's strange
I just want you to be okay.
And when I find myself wishing
For your smile again,
To see it would be a blessing,
To hear you laugh and talk more
Just like you used to,
Know that I'm cheering you on
The last thing I want,
Is for you to not be okay.
So please be okay.
