"i do," he said, "...but i have to go."

jimin sat up, suddenly looking distressed, "w-what? why?"

jimin hated being apart from joon, especially after they were so intimate. joon kept him at ease, always made him feel so secure and safe.

he didn't want him to go.

"i'm sorry," he said, "i don't want to leave either... really. i just... i promised i would meet a friend and i already rescheduled a few times."

"a friend?" jimin asked, "what friend?"

joon sighed, sitting up.

"aruem."

"aruem?" jimin asked, almost scoffing.

joon just reached over to pet his cheek, trying to calm him a bit,

"we... we've been talking again. she's dating hoseok... he doesn't hang around with jungkook and them anymore, though. before you and i got together... she gave me some advice... about how to tell you how i felt. she... she was really nice to me... when i really needed to talk to someone."
