A/N I know right off the back that I did a massive time skip, it's just purposeful for the novel as well as the fact that I am starting to lose motivation...the story is ending soon, so let me know if you want me to do anything in particular. I am saying now, there will be meant of the LGBTQIA+ Community in this chapter. I have always been open about my support for this community, and I want the people to know that I would never put harm upon the community. And if I do to let me know ASAP so I can fix it.
...and I am sorry for what happens in this chapter...
...I didn't want to write it, but if you thought Captain Hook's death was bad...what happens next I struggled to write.
Anyway, Enjoy!
~~~5 Months Later~~~
Third POV - Auradon Castle
Mal sighed as she watched the stars in the cloudless night, with a hot mint coco in hand.
She smiled as she felt her baby kick, the baby due in the next month.
Mal and Ben decided even though they could know the gender, they didn't want to know until the birthing.
They also don't want to place a gender on the baby, and want the baby to grow up gender neutral until the baby has their own thoughts and know what they want.
During the time off for her pregnancy, Mal read a lot...she has read most of the library now.
An interesting book was the history of the LGBTQIA+ Community in Auradon. Mal was surprised to find out that it is accepting in Auradon, where on the Isle the ones who are open about how they express themselves are normally killed.
She talked with Ben, and decided it was best to make it gender neutral as possible, buying the kid what it wants...until they know what they want.
Mal felt herself fill up with pride, knowing she can be a good example to the new parents out there as well as the Isle people who are uneducated by these topics.
She sighed again, watching the horizon, where the Isle is.
She is worried for Ben, who is frequently going on business trips due to the trouble the now nicknamed 'Beast' has caused. She already knew the nickname had Ben on edge, as the claw marks related to the killings made the name come to be. But he never bothered to correct them, which made Mal suspicious.
She is worried he is hiding more than she thinks, holding the stress away from her because she is pregnant.
She made a noise of frustration; she hates being pregnant! She's likes her independence.
Mal sighed, taking another sip of her hot drink.
What Mal fears is that the killer will try to get Ben while on his trips...and she doesn't want her child to grow up without a father...like she did.
Ben's POV - Isle of the Lost
I swiftly moved in the shadows, not making a sound as I got to an alleyway.
I am filled with adrenaline as I walked towards the small streetlamp, which was flickering.
I have finally got a lead on Maleficent, and I got in contact with her without Mal knowing and made a deal.
If she gave me her sceptre, than I can give her a free ticket out of Auradon, which she desperately wants.
I said to meet at the street lamp near the docks of the Isle of the Lost at midnight, which is any second now.
