Chapter Twenty-Two

A/N I didn't expect to go to chapter twenty-two so this might be a shorter chapter...

...and I'm sorry in advance...for the story as well as the writing...I was writing this at 3am

Third POV

"Oh Hades, no, no, no!" Mal exclaimed as she rushed to go to the unmoving Ben.

Gil rushed to Harry, making sure he was alright, being the loyal pirate he is.

Fairy Godmother appeared and held Mal back, shaking her head as Mal looked up at her.

"We don't know if its the voice or not" Fairy Godmother said, "We need you to be safe"

"What time is it?!?" Carlos asked.

They all looked up at the clock tower which read: 11:58pm.

"All no, it's almost 12am!" Jane exclaimed "He needs to wake up now!"

Everyone looked back at Ben, who now didn't look like he was breathing.

It made Mal sick at Ben's motionless body, one thing she never wanted to see.

Harry felt guilty, hoping that either the voice or Ben would wake up, so at least he didn't accidentally kill the king. Gil hummed awkwardly as he tried to comfort the anxious pirate.

"Ben, please!" Audrey pleaded, tears in her eyes.

Jay and Lonnie held each other, so did Jane and Carlos, hoping their friend hasn't gone from them too soon. 

Uma grabbed Audrey's hand, surprising Audrey. But she noticed the tears in the pirate's eyes, and smiled faintly at the daughter of Ursula, who smiled nervously back at the daughter of Aurora.

The body of Ben moved slightly, a groan familiar to everyone was heard from the body.

"Thats one way to knock the voice out, Harry" Ben muttered "Killer headache though"

Harry chuckled.

"Sorry man" Harry stated as Mal rushed to Ben, both Harry and Mal helping him up.

"Are you alright?" Mal asked.

"I'm fine" Ben said, sounding tired.

"Let's get you to the circle thing" Harry said, Mal nodding.

"No, guys, you need to get out of here" Ben said as the two dragged Ben to the circle.

"No, we will stay with-"

"The magic will knock everyone out, including Mal and Jane who have magical powers" Fairy Godmother said as Ben was placed in the middle of the circle "Please leave"

"No! I don't care if we get knocked out!" Mal exclaimed, sounding more and more stressed "Ben told me he wasn't going to do it anymore"

"I lied" Ben said, sounding out of breath "I didn't want to worry you, so I lied so you didn't have to see me go through pain"

"Pain?" Audrey asked, in worry.

Ben nudged Mal and Harry off of him, making him stand alone with shaky legs.

His breathing got heavier and heavier, but he had to stay strong for his wife.

"It wasn't going to be pain free, something that has been apart of my soul my whole life is going to be ripped from me" Ben said calmly, which surprised everyone.
