-Nightmare-

(Y/n) woke up with a cold sweat, shaking, and hyperventilating. She quickly grabs her phone and calls the one person she knows could help her...

Back at the Umbrella Academy, Five was pacing the floor talking to himself.

"Would that work...? Ugh no! It's not special enough..." Five mumbled to himself. Five was trying to figure out the perfect way to ask out (y/n).

"(Y/n) isn't just some girl Five. You really need to think of something special... something that makes her know how much she means to you..." He said to himself.

Five's phone started ringing on his nightstand. He walks over and reads the name lit up on the screen.

(Y/N)

He quickly answers, wondering what she could be doing at this hour.

"Hello? (Y/n)?"

"H-hey Five, uh, c-can you uh come to over- I-I really need someone... please..?" (Y/n) begged, sounding as though her voice could break any second.

"Yes-yes of course I'll be over in a minute." Five said. Within the blink of an eye, he hung up and teleported over.

(Y/n) was sitting on her bed, shaking and breathing heavily. Her cheeks had tears going down them.

"Hey, hey (y/n) what's the matter..." Five said softly, going over to her.

She quickly wraps him in a hug, which he returns. She buried her face into his shoulder and sobbed. Neither of them said anything for a while, until (y/n) pulled away and looked up at him.

"S-sorry I called you. I just-" She started

"No don't be sorry, you can call me whenever you want... Even if you don't have a reason to." He said softly.

"Thank you, I um- I just had a really bad dream..."

"Do you wanna talk about it?" Five asked.

She nods and they both start to get comfortable.

"We, um, we were in a forest, we were just walking, silently. Until we hear like the cliche rustling in the trees and I look over for a few seconds, and when I look back over to you, you were gone. And everything goes dark. And then a loud spotlight turns on and your laying under it... and- and- y-"

"Shhhh, shhh it's ok you don't have to finishes I understand." Five says cutting her off so she doesn't cry again. He pulls her into another hug which she happily returns. The silence was so peaceful as they just stayed there holding each other.

Until five broke the silence.

"Um- (y/n)... I- I really like you. More than a friend!" He quickly spurts out. Sweat starting to build upon his forehead.

"I like you too." (Y/n) said smiling. She broke the hug and looked up at him. He gazed down at her and without thinking he dove in for a kiss. (Y/n)'s eyes widened with shock but she kissed back.

After a few seconds, Five broke away from the kiss and placed his forehead on hers, smiling.

"Thank you, for helping me with my nightmare."

"Anytime."
