Saanjh sat in her room, typing over the laptop. Yashraj was long gone, as he had some work to do. After he went, Saanjh tried sleeping but Sleep Goddess denied her request to come.
Her mind wandered to what Yashraj told her about Apoorva's accident. The first impression after hearing was that, that it was accident. But she had a gut feeling that there was something more.
Twiddling with her fingers, she bit her lower lip, before closing the laptop and grabbing her phone. Her fingers slid through the contacts, and stopped at one.
'Aarushi🍎'
Within a fraction of second, the number got dialed by her and she placed her phone on her ear.
.Aarushi was about to doze off in the canteen, when her phone rang.
"Hello?" She said sleepily rubbing her red eyes.
"Hey Aarushi.. what's up?" Saanjh asked.
"Nothing. Was about to doze off when you called." Aarushi said yawning.
"Why? Didn't you slept well in night?" Saanjh asked.
"Yesterday we got late as we had to go to Kedar's house. Harsh Bhai sa and Chaitrali Bhabhi sa wanted to see Aunty. So we got late as we departed from Jaipur at 12 in night and reached home by 4 in morning." Aarushi said.
"Same here yaar. The days are this hectic that I literally dozed off in broad daylight. Thanks to Lakshya that he came in time, otherwise I would have slept on chair only." Saanjh chuckled from other side making Aarushi laugh. "By the way I want to ask you something." Saanjh added.
"Go ahead." Aarushi said coming towards garden.
"If a truck slammed into a women with her car in middle of a square of highway, what would you consider?" Saanjh asked and Aarushi looked at her phone with a duh look.
"An accident Dumbo." Aarushi said.
"Even I thought the same. But I don't know why I feel it's not an accident. Something more is in it." Saanjh said.
Aarushi sighed. 'A seriously Sherlock Holmes and Agatha Christie fan.' she thought chuckling.
"Dude, there are two scenarios. First, it was an accident, second it was deliberately shown as an 'accident'." Aarushi said. "It must be either of them." She added.
"There is one way by which we can come to know about what scenario is it." Aarushi said.
"What!?" Saanjh asked and Aarushi cocked her eyebrow at sudden excited tone of her.
"Get the CCTV footage. All the highways connecting to Jaipur do HAVE CCTV cameras. Get the footage." Aarushi said. "But about whose accident are you talking?" Aarushi asked thanking the maid for bringing her coffee. She waited for Saanjh to speak.
"Poorv Maharani Apoorva Sahiba of Jaipur." Saanjh said making Aarushi choke and cough hard on her coffee.
"What!?!?" Aarushi managed to speak.
"Yes. Yash just told me about this. And I have a gut feeling that there IS something more than accident." Saanjh spoke.
"You are the first girl I have known, who cares for her husband's first wife. I always saw two wives having competition for their husband." Aarushi said.
"I ain't like them. Apoorva Jiji is like my elder sister. If there is something more, I want justice for her." Saanjh said determined.
"Hmm..." Aarushi hummed.
