In the beautiful and usually silent Cafe Palladio, sat two peoples, with heavy awkwardness around them.
The girl wore a simple, Pink slit Kurti with silver chandbali and a pair of Denim jeans, colorful Mojari in her feet and her hairs tied in high bun.
The male wore a pair of white pants, a crisp white linen shirt and a Royal Blue colored blazer, a rolex in his left wrist and his hairs gelled.
The two sat there silently, awkward to speak, as whatever happened with them in these 24 hours played like a tape recorder.
The familiar tune of iPhone rang into the Royal Chamber of Rani Arundhati Rathore.
"Hello?" Arundhati said, her nose into the file.
"Arundhati? It's Rajalakshmi." Came voice of her best friend and she grinned.
"Rajal! How are you?" Arundhati asked keeping the file aside and showing Jai a thumbs up, confirming the deal about which Harshvardhan told her and went out to balcony.
"I am all good. How are you? How are Harshvardhan, Harshada and Saanjh?" Rajalakshmi asked.
"I am also fine. Harshvardhan and Chaitrali are in office, Harshada is sleeping as she returned today at 4 from Delhi, and Saanjh has gone Jaisalmer for shoot, and will be back by tonight. Aarushi is also here, but she has gone to a school function as a Special Guest." Arundhati counted.
"Aarushi Bai sa is in Shaktigarh?" Rajalakshmi asked and Arundhati nodded.
"Yes. She returned from Ajmer two days ago." Arundhati told.
"Well, I wanted to talk to you about something." Rajalakshmi said hesitantly and Arundhati squinted her eyes in confusion.
"Speak." Arundhati said.
"I want your daughter's hand for Parthveer in marrige." Rajalakshmi said and Arundhati went still.
"W-what? Saanjh... Parthveer... How..?" Arundhati fumbled.
"I know very well that you are aware of untimely death of Apoorva. But I am saying this for the sake of Saanjh. You don't know how much big danger is lurking on Saanjh." Rajalakshmi said in a warning tone.
"Danger? What danger Rajal!?" Arundhati asked concerned. Chaitrali saw her mother-in-law's deep breaths and that tensed face and hence she ran towards her, making her sit.
"Chaitanya Singh Duhan. Yesternight, in the party at Umaid Bhawan. I think some dispute happened between Chaitanya and Saanjh. Chaitanya is NOT a good person. And his father Chandrapratap is nothing but a money minded man, who just wants money. Either by hook or crook. I and Maa sa heard their talk and Chandrapratap said that Chaitanya should marry Saanjh so that they will get the property and Chaitanya will get Saanjh." Rajalakshmi told her everything.
Arundhati was numb. Someone was behind her daughter? She can't think anything. "I... I will talk to Saanjh about it... And worry not, Saanjh will definitely agree to marry Parthveer." Arundhati said and Chaitrali widened her eyes as she looked at her mother-in-law with 'are you serious?!' look.
"Okay... I will also talk to Parth regarding the same. And worry not, Chaitanya won't do anything until Saanjh marries him. Hmm? Don't take tension." Rajalakshmi said.
"How can I not take tension when the sharp sword of danger is at my beloved daughter's throat, Rajal." Arundhati said as her throat burned.
"Arundhati... See, don't cry please... Your voice is making me cry too. Please calm down, and talk. Hmm?" Rajalakshmi said.
