The dining hall of Chandergarh Haveli was silent as the two Royal individual, Rani Jayashikha Singh Duhaan and Younger Princess Rajkumari Latika Singh Duhaan sat there silently eating.
"Umm... Maa sa..?" Latika called her Step Mom who looked up.
"Actually, I was thinking to go on a long drive in Chandergarh itself, tonight and uh.. alone." Latika said.
Jayashikha looked at her younger daughter and smiled. "Of course Latika. You can go." Jayashikha smiled and Latika heaved a sigh of relief.
Once done with dinner, Latika, attentively made her way towards dungeon.
"Uncle!!" The silhoutte again came towards her. "I came to take you." Latika said.
"But how will you open the door?" The man asked and Latika realized she don't had keys. She pondered over a while, before taking out her hairpin.
She remembered how Chaitanya had taught her to open keys with hairpins, when they were kids. But the fate was cruel upon her, as Chandrapratap's sister, who hated Latika, filled Chaitanya and Aalisha's mind with bad things about Latika.
Tears brimmed in her eyes remembering the forehead kiss which Chaitanya used to give her on Rakshabandhan. Pushing her thoughts, she opened the door.
"Uncle, I will show you the way, come." Latika said before covering him with a shawl. She took him out to the garden, hiding from security guards. Bringing him at secluded part of Palace Garden, she helped him climb a tree and asked him to wait outside.
She ran to her room, and slipped into a pair of denim jeans, a black T-shirt and Red and black check shirt. Tying her hairs up in Ponytail, she grabbed her purse. Informing Jayashikha, she went to Parking lot, and took out her Audi. Jayashikha gifted this black audi to her at her birthday, two years ago.
The Palace gates opened, and a sleek black, shining Audi got out of Palace. Looking here and there, Latika drew towards Secluded area, where she saw the man.
The man get in the Passenger seat and Latika switched off the lights. "Uncle, I am dropping you at Railway Station. You can go home from there." Latika said. The girl was relieved to know that he will be able to meet his family.
"Thank you beta. May god bless you with all the fortune and keep you safe from evils." The man blessed her and Latika smiled at him, while she humorlessly chuckled from inside.
Arriving at Railway station, she covered her face with scarf, and got out with man. She then gave him some money.
"No beta I can't keep." The man said.
"Uncle please, I can do this little thing for you." Latika said. "Please have some food during journey and buy tickets from this money." She said urging him to take. Hesitantly, he took them.
He turned to go but turned to Latika. Taking off his Rolex wrist watch, he gave it to Latika.
"No uncle I can't keep." Latika said. "beta please, think it as a blessing of mine." He said keeping the watch on her palm, and turned to go. Something struck Latika, and she looked at him.
"Uncle what's your name?" She asked. He turned and smiled, "Vikramaditya Singh Rathore." He smiled and went, leaving Latika in her thoughts.
