A dimly room was filled with smoke coming out of a cigarette, which was held by a man with wheatish complexion whose whole aura was dominating, and a girl was sitting beside him, her face caked up in makeup.
"Baby once more ...!" The girl whined, shifting a bit.
"No baby... Not now.." He said as his phone went off. He talked a bit, and anger was visible on his face. "What happened Bab--" The girl spoke but was harshly pushed by that man.
"I will leave." He said throwing bundle of money on that girl and stormed out of the dimly lit room.

"Mom!? Mom!? MOM!?" He yelled entering the mansion.
A petite girl came in front of him. "Maa sa is at Pooja Sthal Bhai sa..." She meekly said and added fuel to fire of him.
"How many times I have told you not to calk me brother!?!" He yelled at her. "This right is only of Aalisha!!! Not you!! You child of a slut!!!" He yelled and raised his hand. She tightly closed her eyes waiting for impact but it didn't came.
He swung his hand towards her cheek but someone grabbed it. "Kunwar sa!! Are you in your senses!? She is your sister!!" A women scolded him.
"No!! No mom!! She is daughter of a slut! She can never be my sister!!" He yelled and marched towards his room. Tears rolled down the girl's cheek as she wiped them.
"Latika... Worry not. He will accept you. He is just mad." The women said.
"It's alright Maa sa.." Latika smiled at her step mom.
"Jaya!!!!" Another heavy voice called and the two turned around to see the patriarch, Chandrapratap Singh Duhan coming towards them.
"Is breakfast ready or not?" He asked her, his eyes stuck on his watch.
"Everything is ready. We are just waiting your doll to join." Jayashikha said smiling.
"Khamma Ghani Baba sa..." Latika said hesitantly and Chandrapratap looked at her and she looked down, ready to face another ignorance from her father.
"Ghani Khamma chhoti Bai sa." He said and the face of Latika lit up like a lamp. Jayashikha smiled at him and her.
"Where is Doll?" Chandrapratap asked sitting on a chair at dining. Jayashikha sat beside him on his left and Latika on her side.
"Here!!" a voice chirped and a girl hugged Chandrapratap who kissed her forehead, while Latika looked at the two with a pained smile. She was Aalisha Singh Duhan, the over-spoiled daughter of Chandrapratap Singh Duhan.
The girl noticed her and made a disgusted face, but covered it because of her father. She sat at right side her father, and Chaitanya joined them. The maids served them food and all of them ate silently.
"Latika Bai sa.!" Chandrapratap suddenly said and Latika looked at him. "Yes Baba sa.?" She asked.
"What happened to your cheeks? They look swollen." he asked taking another morsel making Latika's heart beat fasten and Aalisha stop eating, as she glared at a terrified Latika.
"N-Nothing Baba sa.. Exams are coming na.. So I am studying late night.. And it happens with me usually."Latika lied. Chandrapratap wasn't convinced but still he agreed, as he knew Latika do not lie.
Latika was having her food, as her mind drifted to last night.
Flashback
"Jiji sa!!! It's hurting!!!" The cry of Latika was heard as Aalisha pulled her through her hairs.
"SHH!!!! Stop crying!!" Aalisha snarled.
Aalisha took her into a dark room at basement, still pulling her through her hairs. She was hell angry as her boyfriend praised Latika.
"You bitch!! First your mother lured Baba sa now you are luring my boyfriend!? HOW DARE YOU!?" Aalisha yelled as she pushed Latika so badly that Alisha fell on the pieces of glass which pierced her skin.
"AAH!!!!" Latika cried out in pain.
Aalisha took a hair dryer and started it, as she went towards menacingly, an evil and mad smile on her face as she enjoyed Latika's frightened looks. She the placed the hair dryer, which was on, at Latika's thigh, which was open since she wore shorts.
"AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Latika cried out in pain, which was unnoticed by everyone because the room was sound proof.
Aalisha punched Latika on her cheek, and impact made her cheek swell.
"You deserve it, bitch." Aalisha snarled evilly, as she kicked her on her stomach, before marching out. Latika stood up with great difficulty, as she walked into corridor, her cheeks stained with tears. She was about to fall because of exhaustion but someone caught her.
"Latika Bai sa!! What happened to you!?" Chhaya, personal maid and best friend of Latika asked in horror.
Chhaya brought her to her room and made her lie on bed, and ran to grab first aid kit.
"Why don't you tell Raja sa about this!?" Chhaya asked applying ointment on her thigh and Latika squirmed her eyes close.
"Baba sa loves Jiji a lot. He believes she can never harm me. How can I break his trust? H e will be broken." Latika said and Chhaya hugged her.
"Do remember Bai sa.. Someone will help you. Definitely." Chhaya said as Latika silently cried in her embrace
Flashback ends
Latika came out of her trance as she concentrated on what Chandrapratap is saying.
"Our business partner, Mr. Sahil Mahajan's son Arnav Mahajan got married two days ago. So they have invited us in the reception Party. Tomorrow at 8 PM sharp. Be ready." Chandrapratap said and everyone nodded.
"Latika..?" Jayashikha asked unsure and Chandrapratap looked at Latika who was concentrating on her food, deliberately ignoring everyone since she knew he won't take her.
"She will also come." Chandrapratap said making everyone shocked.
Latika's mouth was widen in shock, Aalisha and Chaitanya looked at their father and gave each other an unbelievable look as Jayashikha smiled at her husband.
"Th... Thank you Baba sa..." Latika smiled heartily. Her father has been always cold towards her, this is first time he realized he do have one more daughter.

"FAIZA!!!!!" Latika cried out of happiness as she hugged Faiza, her friend and secret keeper.
"Arre Arre what happened why are you so happy today?" Faiza asked.
"Tomorrow Baba sa, Maa, Jiji sa and Bhai sa are going to a party. And Baba sa agreed to take me." Latika exclaimed and Faiza widened her mouth.
"Raje Agreed!?" Faiza asked and Latika nodded, resulting Faiza hug her.
"Congratulations Latika!!!" Faiza hugged her.
"Finally, Raje saw that he do have another daughter except Aalisha Bai sa."Faiza said sarcastically and Latika hit her.
"Now help me choosing my gown. Maa sa sent me some pics." Latika said showing her phone to Faiza.
