Rise and Shine,
Sunshine!!!The tune of alarm rang into the familiar room. Suddenly the quilt was thrown at side and a head with disheveled hairs jerked out of it. Hands of the persons pushed the hairs back of its face, and the girl's eyes widened at the unfamiliar room, until she looked at the side of a pillow wall to see a familiar man sleeping.
Her husband.
Saanjh heaved a deep sigh, and before the Alarm could ring again, she turned it off. She then quitely set her foot on the cold floor tile, and quitely folded the quilt, and went into closet.
Suddenly she heard a knock at bedroom door, and opened the door to see Heera Bai. Heera Bai gestured to the platter in her hands. Saanjh peeped beside her once, and went out with Heera Bai. Closing he door softly, she turned to Heera Bai.
"Rani sa, Rajmata has sent this dress and jewellery for your Muh Dikhai and Rasoi ritual. And this saree and jewellery for tonight's party." Heera Bai said.
"Okay I will wear it." Saanjh said. "By the way what is your name?" Saanjh asked her. "Heera Bai." Heera Bai said. "Okay so Heera Kaki I will be downstairs soon." Saanjh said and Heera Bai nodded smiling before she went outside the chambers of King.
The Chamber had two huge rooms. One was a sitting area, which also had a wooden swing, some couches, sofa and a coffee table, it was decorated with artifacts. And other was Bedroom with a walk-in closet, a bedroom with home theatre, and a balcony, the serene view of Pink City adding to the beauty of Blue Sky.
Saanjh went inside the closet, picking up her essentials from her side of closet, she went inside. Opening the tap and adjusting the geyser at correct temperature, she brushed her teeth, and did some of her business, until the bathtub got filled. Throwing the Kurta and legging she wore in night into the laundry basket, she dipped into the bathtub, the lukewarm water easing her nerves.
.
After taking the nerve easing bath, Saanjh wore the ruby red Rajasthani Lehanga, which was adorned with beautiful embroidery of silver lining and beads and pearls attached to it. She remembered what her mother told."Red color is the color of Love, Color of Blood, and the color of Kshatriya."
She smiled fondly at the memory. She then came out to see Parthveer still sleeping. 'I think he is bit too tired.' she thought until her eyes landed om clock. 'It's 6.30 for God's sake!' She thought.
Shaking her head, she took out a dark chocolate from her bagpack, and munched it, while wearing the jewellery.
.Parthveer woke up hearing the sound of something tinkling, and opened his eyes with a snap, only to see a girl with wet hairs and ruby red Rajasthani poshak sitting in front of mirror.
'Apoorva..' He thought, until he saw the reflection of his newly Wed wife, in mirror. He sat up at bed, checking time.
"Good Morning." A voice caught his attention, and he turned his head towards Saanjh. "Good Morning Miss-- I mean Saanjh." He said looking at her frowned face when he was going to say 'Miss Saanjh'.
"When did you woke up?" He asked yawning a bit. "At 5." She said. "You slept at 2 yesterday and woke up at 5." He said. Sensing his confusion, Saanjh spoke.
"Actually I am used to it nowadays. From past one and a half week, I used to reach Shaktigarh by 12, 1, etc., And used to wake up at 5 or 5.30 for my work in Jaipur. So, yeah." Saanjh shrugged. Parthveer nodded understanding and stood up.
He then walked into the closet, and picked up a crisp, white linen shirt, a pair of white pants, and a deep blue blazer. Taking them, he went inside and took a refreshing cold water shower.
