A/N: Telekinesis - You gain the ability to move or manipulate creatures or objects by thought. When you cast the spell, and as your action each round for the duration, you can exert your will on one creature or object that you can see within range, causing the appropriate effect below. You can affect the same target round after round, or choose a new one at any time. If you switch targets, the prior target is no longer affected by the spell.
Creature. You can try to move a Huge or smaller creature. Make an ability check with your spellcasting ability contested by the creature's Strength check. If you win the contest, you move the creature up to 30 feet in any direction, including upward but not beyond the range of this spell. Until the end of your next turn, the creature is restrained in your telekinetic grip. A creature lifted upward is suspended in mid-air.
On subsequent rounds, you can use your action to attempt to maintain your telekinetic grip on the creature by repeating the contest.
Object. You can try to move an object that weighs up to 1,000 pounds. If the object isn't being worn or carried, you automatically move it up to 30 feet in any direction, but not beyond the range of this spell.
If the object is worn or carried by a creature, you must make an ability check with your spellcasting ability contested by that creature's Strength check. If you succeed, you pull the object away from that creature and can move it up to 30 feet in any direction but not beyond the range of this spell.
You can exert fine control on objects with your telekinetic grip, such as manipulating a simple tool, opening a door or a container, stowing or retrieving an item from an open container, or pouring the contents from a vial.Dragon hunting. Any advice?
What do I remember? Lightning dragon. Shooting lightning bolts. Pulling. Something about rings? Is that this one? I open my eyes for a moment to glance at equipment. Solas's staff is ice currently. Good.
A plan. What do I have? The area is too open for flanking. Farthest back should be Solas. Then Sera. Not ideal but Cass and I split the regular potions. Sera has Solas as a healer, as long as she stays within range. Some regen. potions for each of them just in case. Does Solas use lyrium? Is he strong enough not to? Fuck, I can't tell, I absolutely never used the lyrium when I played, not anything I invested in. Not that game experience helps in this scenario.
Moving on, Cass tanks. I can hop around on top of the dragon, slice the wings, the pull shouldn't be as strong that way. Solas and Sera, they need to be by some rocks it'll block the pull effect. They need to be different rocks.
I'd love to have more than four people for this.
Oh. Bone bow. A longer recurve, dragon parts are big. What enchantment? Darkvision. Brain damage... no, mental damage. How much would it cost?
When everyone has gotten up I go over my ideas. Other than Sera being a little put out at having to stay so far away and some noted displeasure at the potion division, there aren't many issues with what I'd come up with.

The dragon had been sleeping on top of a ruined building when we reached the top of the hill. Only to awaken once someone stepped on a stick. We took that as a que to get a move on and be ready to fight a lightning breathing dragon.

It was taxing. Fighting something that big with only four of us. Every potion was used, even with Solas' periodic healing spells. Currently, we all stand around the carcass.
"We should do something with the body." Cass says, slightly out of breath.
"What do you mean?" I lift my head from the ground.
"It would not be false to say that visitors would be impressed to see a dragon skeleton in Skyhold."
"I'd rather use it to make better weapons and stuff... 'sides, I need a couple bones—and some sinew."
"Whatever for?"
"It's gonna be a gift, well, two gifts. Don't worry about it, it's nothing to worry yourselves with."
"Either way, take what you need and I'll go send word back." Cass starts heading back to camp.
When I make no effort to move from where I am currently sprawled on the ground, Sera walks off, mumbling about Solas making gushy eyes.
I hear Solas sit on the ground next to me, "Who's it for?"
"Don't pretend you don't know. Ignorance doesn't suit you, da'mi."
"Hm." There is a long pause. "Do you want help?"
"Do you even want to help? Like, do you want to crawl around in a dragon? Not literally but, that's what I think I'll be doing."
"Not really but if you need it, I am here."
"Danke. I appreciate it." Come on, just ask already.
We are silent for a few minutes before Solas speaks, "I—I would like to show you something. Later. This evening."
That's cute. "Sure. After dinner. Which means I need to get a move on."
Standing, I find a knife and walk along the body. The ribs will be too big, I should pull some from the tail. Plenty of tissue there as well. I'll have to cure it. This is going to be one of the grossest things I've done. Good thing it's dead.
I cut into the base of the tail enough to see bone. Let's hope this doesnt break it. I place my hand above the length I need and cast telekinesis on that point.
After maneuvering said bone and more slicing, it finally breaks. I do this a couple more times just in case. I'll have to get a bone saw, do those exist? They have to. What constitutes as glue? I carefully pull off the tendon and fry any marrow. Do tails even have marrow? Is that a thing that animals have?
I should tack it to the bone before it dries fully. I have some time then... Need some wax. Need a string.
Costs. I climb up the dragon body after storing the bones in my magic bag and laying the tendons on the ground. I look for loose scales and some teeth.
