Chapter One: Sneaky

Autumn, a 16 year old American girl, was seated in her bedroom doing the one thing she hated most: homework. Her mind kept getting sidetracked and drawn to many other things. Autumn had officially given up on her homework when her phone rang. "Hey Nat, what's up?" Asked Autumn as she put the phone up to her ear. Her best friend was heard through the phone, "AYE! Autumn! Want to go shopping and stream together later?" "I can't, my mom will literally kill me. I'm so behind on schoolwork." Autumn sighed and Nat shrugged, "Just sneak out and come stream with me." "You know my mom watches my streams, right?" She asked and Natalia stated, "She doesn't watch mine." "Okay fine. I'll be over at 6:00." Autumn said and Nat smiled, "Great, see you soon!" and hung up.

"Hey, you working hard?" Autumn's mother asked her, walking into the room. Autumn gulped and replied, "Yep, I have a ton of studying, so I advise you don't come into my room too much tonight." "Good." She ruffled Autumn's hair and walked out. Autumn sighed and thought to herself, it feels bad lying to my mom, but she expects me to be this perfect and smart child like my brother, and I am not. I want to be a youtuber and he's literally in college studying engineering. I just want to be who I want, and not who my parents want me to be.

There was a knock on the window and Natalia opened it up, "You're late." "Oh shut up Nat, it's 6:02." Autumn grinned. The two girls sat next to each other, and Nat started up her stream, "What's up everybody, welcome to the stream. Autumn is here too." "Just don't tell my mom." Autumn added and Nat continued talking, "Today we'll be doing a Q&A, so ask away." The chat started filling up a lot.

Autumn began to answer some of the questions, "Yeah, we're both extremely single. I don't have a favorite color, uh I'm from New York, wait. Who's Dream?" "Huh?" Natalia looked up and Autumn repeated herself, "Who's dream?" "You don't know who Dream is?!" Nat scoffed and Autumn looked confused, "No...? Should I?" "Uh yeah, Autumn, you and I are huge streamers on twitch and so is Dream and his friends. I'm surprised you haven't seen any of his stuff." Nat explained and she shrugged, "I'll look into it." "Do you know who Tommyinnit is?" Asked Nat, reading out a question and Autumn nodded, "Yeah, duh I know who Tommy is, he's hilarious. I've watched a few of his streams." "HOW DO YOU KNOW WHO TOMMY IS BUT NOT DREAM!" Natalia exclaimed and Autumn shrugged and went back to answering questions, "Hmm, my favorite show at the moment is probably Teen Wolf, I got into streaming to meet new people and to do what I love, oh, my day has been decent, thanks for asking."

As Autumn got home, she immediately went to her computer. Who's this Dream guy? She asked herself and pulled up YouTube and looked him up. Then she watched some of his manhunt videos. Autumn smiled while watching these videos and thought that Dream and his friends were pretty funny. Next she went to twitch, and turns out he was streaming.

He and his friends seemed to start freaking out but Dream was calm, "Oh hey Autumn. I'm down, I've seen your videos and you seem pretty chill." She was about to log off the stream and head to bed when Sapnap said, "Wait, isn't she that one girl that Tommy always watches." Autumn's eyes widened and her cheeks darkened as she shut off her computer.
