Chapter Four: Among Us

♪ you're not my homeland anymore, so what am I defending now? ♪

The first round I was a crewmate. I was just peacefully doing my tasks when Fundy started following me around. It was pretty sus, so I called an emergency meeting. "Oh come one! Why'd you call it? I was in the middle of my task." Quackity complained and I explained myself, "Sorry, sorry. I got nervous. Fundy has been following me around and not really doing his tasks which is pretty sus." "No, I've been doing tasks and I'm almost done with them. I was just staying by you." Fundy tried to defend himself but then Tubbo asked, "Fundy, what tasks have you done?" "Uh, I was in electrical and then I was in medbay because I had a scan." Fundy replied and Wilbur sighed, "Oh man Fundy, this looks really bad for you cause I was in electrical the whole time and didn't see you once." We all laughed and voted for Fundy.

Fundy was ejected

It took me a while to finish my tasks because I'm pretty sure that Fundy was mad at me, so he was closing the doors wherever I went. After finishing all my tasks, I was just chilling in security and reading off donations from my stream. All of a sudden, the lights turned off and the door closed. Then someone popped out of a vent and I mumbled under my breath, "oh shit." That someone was Tommy and he vented out right after doing so and I laughed. Tommy killed a few more people, but apparently Niki saw him vent, so he lost.

"Noooooo!" He yelled as the words VICTORY appeared on my screen. I smirked, "I'm never wrong." We played a couple more rounds but I was almost never a crew mate, and the imposters seemed to always kill me first. My stream was going crazy because I was raging so much and then halfway through the stream I got copyrighted for playing One Direction. "Can you stop killing me first." I complained once the round was over. Quackity apologized, "Sorry Aut, I had a feeling that you knew it was me, so I did what had to be done." "Whatever." I mumbled and whispered to my chat, "chat, trend #cancelquackity2020 on Twitter for me."

The next round went in my favor when the red words that read 'IMPOSTER' appeared on my screen. Wilbur was my partner and for the first round I pretended to be AFK for a little bit, then I ran around, killed Phil, and went back to pretending to be AFK. When the body was reported Niki vouched for me, "So I don't think it's Autumn cause I didn't see her move once in Cafeteria. I walked through there like 3 times." "Oh yeah sorry, I was using the bathroom. Wow I'm surprised I'm not dead!" I said and some of the others laughed. Tubbo spoke, "I think we should skip because we have plenty of people." I nodded and we did so.

Wilbur and I stuck together and as I called lights we both stood there and waited for people. Tubbo and Fundy walked in, so Wilbur and I got a double kill and then vented out. A few seconds later, one of the body's got reported. "Wilbur and I were in medbay, I saw him do a scan." I lied and Eret was a little bit suspicious, "But there's a vent from electrical to medbay." "Wait- wait Eret." Quackity stopped him and spoke, "I reported the body, but never said where I found it. So how do you know where it was?" "Where was the body Quackity?" I asked and he replied, "In electrical." "It has to be Eret then." Tommy laughed and we all voted for him. Eret defended himself, "Wait guys no it's not what it looks like, I just figured that because the lights went out, Fundy and Tubbo went to go fix them in electrical, so I assumed that that's where they died." "If it's not you Eret, I'm very sorry." I said with a smirk as everyone else voted.

Eret was ejected.

"Whew I'm doing quite well I think." I said to my chat. I killed Schlatt at the beginning of the round and then stuck by Tommy to have an alibi when the body gets reported. I didn't see Wilbur for most of the game until a body was reported. Quackity spoke, "Okay, so I saw Wilbur do this kill." Wilbur was laughing so hard, so it was very obvious that it was him. I face palmed and went on mute to talk to my chat, "I always get stuck with the worst partners huh." And then went off of mute. Wilbur got voted and we continued playing.

I continued to stick by Tommy, but when the lights were out I killed Niki. Dead Wilbur called Reactor to lead everyone away from the body, so I guess he isn't too bad of an imposter partner. At the last minute I killed Tommy and VICTORY popped up on my screen. A chorus of screams erupted from the other players but Tommy was the loudest, "How?!!! We were by each other the whole round!" "Hehe I have my ways." I giggled. Niki spoke up, "Uh hey, I'm gonna go and head off to bed. Nice meeting you Autumn." "Aww, goodnight Niki, I'll talk to you soon I promise. Get some good sleep. Mwah." I smiled and Niki laughed as she disconnected from the call.

Quackity added some guy named Karl to play. "Autumn, this is Karl, Karl this is Autumn." He introduced us to each other. Then we played several more games of among us, and I ended up getting along with Karl very well. The two of us found many ways to piss off Tommy and it was fun. It was very late, we had played a ton of rounds, and I was going to get in trouble, so I told the others, "Hey, so I'm going to get off and end my stream. It was so much time playing with y'all, thank you for inviting me." "Anytime Autumn." Wilbur said and Tommy added, "If you ever want to stream with someone, literally just give any of us a call." "Thank you, seriously, all of you." I smiled and disconnected from the call. Then I said goodnight to my stream and ended it, yet I stayed up for several more hours watching a mix of YouTube and Netflix.

When I was finally falling asleep, my phone buzzed. I looked over to it on my nightstand and read the name 'Dream.' Usually, I would've checked the message, but I was half asleep so I decided I would check it in the morning. Little did I know, it was the invite of a lifetime...
