Chapter Sixteen: MCC 13 pt. 2

♪ so I drown it out, like I always do ♪

Welcome back to MCC, where it's my first time, but I'm lowkey popping off. The fourth game we're playing is Ace Race, a race to the finish line through the land, sea, and sky. "Oh everyone's invisible now." Punz noticed as the counter was going down. This is one of the games I've practiced a lot for.

"Haha I passed up Frey!" I exclaimed as I inched my way up the leaderboard. "Nice job Autumn!" Eret cheered me on and Krinios laughed, "The kid is carrying us." "What place are you in?" Punz asked and I smirked, "Second." "Holy crap that's amazing!" Punz stated and I smiled, this is such a great team. I managed to be in second for a while, with Hbomb ahead of me in first. Punz is in 12th and Eret is in 23rd I think, but I'm not sure about Ryan. I finished in second and cheered. We're also still in 2nd overall, and I'll take it.

The next round is TGTTOSAWAF, which is to get to the other side (and wack a fan). In the first round of it we used our elytra to glide through the air. I used to play a game very similar to this one with my brother on Minecraft, so I kinda know what I'm doing. The second round of it we had to run across and some people at pretty competitive. I ran into Tommy and he was determined to not let me cross the finish line. "Oh I hate Tommyinnit." I mumbled and punched him out of my way so I could wack a fan. I was 5th to finish that round, following right behind Punz.

The third round of to get to the other side was the difficult one with tridents, and I kept messing it up. I finished that round at about 20th, but it's fine because my entire team has done really well in all of the rounds of this game. Next up in the fourth round we had blocks, but my team stuck together for that one and managed to all get in the top 4 (I got in 3rd)! In the fifth round we had boats, which were difficult to navigate, but I did alright. I finished in 6th, which wasn't terrible. The sixth and final round we had blocks again and were bridging, but my plan was to stay behind and try to use someone else's bridge instead of going first. I died like once, but finished in 8th. That game put our team up in a lot of points, bumping us up to 1st place woohoo!

The sixth game we played was Rocket Spleef. The goal of the game is to destroy the terrain below opponents in order to be the last team flying. "Ah ah ah ah, staying alive." We were all singing at the beginning of the round and I burst out laughing, because half of them have very monotone voices. The first map was an advent calendar, and I had a decent hiding spot until Hbomb found me, so then I hit him off the map. We all tried to stay alive for as long as possible for that game, but that didn't work out too well. I died because I forgot how to use a firework and couldn't boost myself back up onto the blocks.

Rocket Spleef round #2 was on a tower, and I'd say I did better this time. I got several kills including Philza, Nat, Fruitberries, and Tubbo. Somehow Krinios got me out and I started laughing as he read out the text, "You killed your teammate Autym, what kind of friend are you?" We all started laughing out loud at the chat and went onto the third round. Our team was getting targeted a lot in the final round because of our lead, so it was difficult for me to stay alive. I got out pretty early from Smallishbeans, and I was giving pointers to my team and watching out for them while spectating.

We're still in first, but not by much, the top three is very close. The server crashed for a moment, but then we all spawned in inside the next game, Sand of Time. Well technically it's called Snows of Time because of the Christmasy theme. In this game you navigate dungeons and race against the clock to collect the most gold coins. "Autumn, can you be on sand, I mean snow duty?" Eret asked me and I nodded, "Uh sure, I'll stay here and try not to die or let the time run out." Punz died trying to do lava parkour to reach a gold vault. A lot of the other teams were opening vaults, which was quite alarming.

"I need more sand, I have three pieces left." I informed them and Krinios came over and gave me all of his sand. We ran out of sand, which meant that we ran out of team and needed to bank our money as soon as possible. We ended up banking 2270 coins, which wasn't too great. Turns out the other teams didn't do good in Snows of Time either, so we're only in second!

The one game my team didn't want was Build Mart, and of course that was the game everyone voted for next. Recreating as many builds as possible while shopping for resources is how you play Build Mart. "I can get colors." I offered while Punz was off getting ores. "Great, I need green, yellow, and magenta." Eret told me and I nodded as I set off in my boat. We were quickly getting builds done and working together as a team very well. "Woo we got second above purple!" We all cheered as the game finished. This means, it's time for the finals, and we're in it.

"None of us have actually won at MCC." Krinios pointed out as we logged into Dodgeball, the final duel. We're up against purple, which is Nat's team, so this is going to be interesting. Eret shot and got one of them out, and they shot at us but missed. Eret got shot and so did Nat. Punz was shot next, leaving just me, and I got out immediately after. "It's alright, only the first round." Punz said encouragingly.

Once again in the next round I was the last one on my team left alive. I was literally shaking, and then Nat shot me. "Dammit." I mumbled under my breath. My heart was racing as we were losing and they only needed one more to win. I don't know why it's always me, but all my teammates got out again and it was a 1v1 against purple. As I took a deep breath, I knew this my last chance and I fired. I grinned as the shot hit the other team and we finally won a round, keeping us in the game. It was down to Punz in the next round and he was doing really well with dodging all the shots. He got Pete out and we were all cheering on the sidelines.

Dodgeball is now all tied up, this final round will be determining the winners of MCC 13. Our entire team is amazing, and this has been such an amazing event to partake in. Punz and I shot at Nat at the same time, getting her out. Then he shot one of the others on the purple team, leaving two left. Krinios shot one and I smirked, knowing we have this win in the bag. At least I thought, until I got shot unexpectedly. Krinios got the last kill and we were all cheering. "Yeahhh! Let's fucking gooo!" I was grinning so much, my first MCC and I won! I kind of feel bad for beating Nat, but I mean it is just a game. An incredibly fun and amazing game where I have made some of the greatest friends ever.
