Chapter Three: Invited?

I replayed the voicemail that Nat left my phone this morning while I was still asleep, "Hey Autumn, me and some of our other friends are streaming Among Us later and we need another person. I know you're lazy ass is definitely still asleep, so text me when you wake up and listen to this. I hope you can make it." I shook my head, my mom doesn't want me to stream today cause I'm supposed to sPeNd TiMe WiTh My FaMiLy and CaTcH uP oN sChOoLwOrK, which obv I don't want to do, but she almost caught me sneaking out the other day so I have to be good for now. I texted Nat and politely turned down the offer, as much as I do love Among Us.

I went downstairs to make myself lunch when I noticed Tommyinnit went live. I clicked on it and saw that he was playing on the Dream SMP. As I made myself a sandwich I watched him and the others on the server mess around. I picked up a few things of what was going on on the server such as: a war, there was going to be a traitor, and Wilbur might blow up something called L'manburg. "What's a L'manburg?" I mumbled to myself and continued watching as I took a bite into my sandwich. "Oh you're up!" My mom said, walking down the stairs. "Yeah I am, what are we doing today since you said you wanted some 'family time'?" I asked as I shut off my phone. She responded, "Yeah, change of plans. I have a last minute work trip in Chicago and your dad is taking your brother to a football game. So you're home alone for the rest of the day." "Wait really, seriously?" I groaned and my mom was confused, "I thought you liked being home alone?" "Nat asked me if I wanted to stream and play this one game later and I already turned her down." I explained and my mother shrugged, "Well maybe you can change that and take her up on her offer. Anyways, got to go, I have a plane to catch. Love you!" "Love you too mom." I smiled and then walked back up to my bedroom.

I called Nat and she picked up, "Hey Nat, I was wondering if I could still play among us." "Eee, sorry Aut, we already have the maximum number of players." Natalia replied and I frowned, "Okay." "Sorry, got to go." She apologized and before I could say, "it's fine" she hung up. For the next ten or so minutes I watched Nat's stream, but was pretty bored and wanted to play Among Us. I resorted to going on Twitter, and let's just say I'm really bad at using Twitter. Yet I still decided to tweet something out.

I happily put on my headset and logged into my computer. There was an invite to a server and I joined the vc. "Hello!" I said and Niki greeted me, "Hello Autumn! It's so nice meeting you." There were several people talking but they all stopped when I joined. "I'm Tubbo." A voice said and the rest introduced themselves. "I'm Fundy." "Eret." "Schlatt." "Hey Autumn I'm Wilbur." "Quackity." "Uh I'm Phil." "And I'm Tommy, you've already met me though." They all introduced themselves. Wow, a lot of new names, I took a gulp and asked, "So what's the code?" 'SEQQCT.' Wilbur typed out in the chat. I joined the game and spoke, "Alright, I'm gonna stream." "Who's all streaming here?" Quackity asked and Fundy answered, "I know Will, Autumn, and I are. I'm not sure." "I am too." Tommy mumbled and Wilbur laughed, "Why is Tommy being so quiet for once?" "I'm not! I'm just tired." He replied quickly.

I went on mute and greeted my chat and explained that I would be playing Among Us with some new people. "Alright, y'all can start the game now." I said as I rejoined the call. Tommy laughed, "Did you just say 'y'all?'" "Yeah I did, what are you going to about it?" I smirked and he pretended to be disgusted, "'Yall' is a such an American thing to say." "Oi, shut up ya bastard." I said with a fake British accent and then laughed, "I'm kidding. Just start the game." "Kids these days." Mumbled Schlatt and we all laughed as Wilbur started the game.
