Chapter 26

[ Instrument Playing: Beautiful in White ]

Every girls childhood dream is to wear stunning white gown, walking down the aisle with a prince charming waiting on the end of the passage, I was one of those girls who's excited to wear wedding gown when I grow up. Unexpectedly, that fairytale dream will turn into ashes.

I let my own feet dragged me in this white carpet, flashes of camera, guests from different hierarchy and different country. I let my tears flow that I can't almost see the beautiful flowers in the floor and around the wide hall. I let my chest tear apart, I let them smile at me like I'm crying the tears of joy, everyone seems so happy in this wedding.

I gripped the bouquet of flower, shivering. I turn to Tuecer waiting in the isle, he's emotionless. Few more steps and I'm finally chaining myself, this feels like torture. I've never felt this pain before, it's so painful... It feels like I'm taking my own heart and buried it in hell.

Chaucer give small kisses to my nape and hugged me from the back tightly, tiredly, he whispered, "I'll fight for you, please don't go." I bite my lowerlip while holding his hand, "Zen.." he pleaded like he already knows my answer.

Napasulyap ako sa alarm clock, It's already 4 AM. The atmosphere feels so cold but his warmth made it feels so good under the same blanket, both unclothed. "We'll just complicate things." My stomach spin as I talk, "Everyone is expecting this wedding, I don't want to recieve dissapointments anymore. My parents.." I held my breath, "They're everything to me, they've given me everything that I need and I want.. t-this is the only way I can payback."

Marahan akong humarap sakanya upang haplusin ang kanyang pisngi ngunit sinubsob na niya ang mukha saaking dibdib habang nakayakap ng mahigpit, "H-how about me.. about us." He talked in my skin, breathing heavily I tried to calm while petting his hair. "If I told you before that I'm part of Rhodes group, will everything change?" Natigilan ako at muling naalala ang pinagsamahan namin, that was like a fantacy to me. "Im regretting so bad.." his voice cracked that made my heart skipped.

Marahan akong umiling at pilit na ngumiti, "My feelings was sincere, and.." malalim akong napabuntong-hininga, "I-I didn't broke up with you because of that." nilayo niya ang mukha at inangat ang tingin sakin, everything about Chaucer tells how much the deity favors him. I gave a smack kiss to his forehead, "W-Why were you pretending to be poor, anyway?"

Napabuntong-hininga sya at muling sumubsob saaking leeg, "I was just bored that time, I want new environment, but you found me, played my feelings, I get attached, then you leave."

I saw my relatives smiling at me, some are throwing petals and teary-eyed. It took so long until I reach the peak, I didn't even realized that Tuecer is offering his arms infront of me. My parents and his are saying something that I cannot hear, they're just smiling widely, probably congratulating us and giving kiss to our cheeks.

"Stop crying.." he whispered as we take few steps in the staires to face the priest. "You look like attending a funeral, Zenica." Hindi ako nakinig sa sinasabi ng pari at nilingon sya. He's staring at me... a weak stare. Nakarinig ako ng tilian sa mga bisita ng kumuha si Tuecer ng panyo at marahang pinahiran ang aking pisngi, hindi ako gumalaw habang kinikilig ang lahat.

"Find your balls, Tuecer." It's only me and him can hear our own voices, the priest is speaking infront of the mic starting the ceremony. Nakita kong natigilan sya, I cleared my throat, "You are an idiot." I bite my lowerlip as he tried to look away and faking a smile, "You're the man here.." I sniffed, "I'm just waiting for you to fight what you feel for my bestfriend." Mas nakita ko kung paano umawang ang kanyang bibig at tila'y hindi makapaniwalang may alam ako, I let myself sobbed before turning to the cameras and smile like I'm so happy to be married.
