Whatever it was that enveloped her grew rigid and kept her head in a specific place and restricted her arms so that she couldn't do anything about the object approaching her forehead. It looked a bit like a lightsaber without the laser beam. As it approached her she had to cross her eyes to keep it in view and tensed, sure that it would kill her as soon as it would make contact. Her heart raced to the point where she couldn't even hear the din the crowd behind her made anymore, her hands were sweaty and she feared to be sic once more within the invisible coffin. Contrary to her fears, the object didn't to anything to her, except maybe ease her headache a bit by cooling her. She kept struggling to get out of the hole, out of the invisible coffin, out of the sphere and back home! All of a sudden she couldn't feel her body anymore. She could still see but she couldn't direct her gaze. Her mind seemed to be clouded, iridescent lights crept through her line of vision but she stayed conscious.
She saw herself being sucked into the hole further, where there had been the lightsaber and a wall the same colour as everything else before now the hole deepened further, turned into some kind of a tunnel through which she was transported somehow. It ended with her being dumped out onto a somewhat soft material, she still couldn't feel but she bounced off of it again but was retained somehow as she didn't float away. Unable to move she just drifted around as far as whatever held her there allowed. Her head was turned towards the exit of the tunnel and she couldn't turn around or direct her gaze. Whatever had been done to her had dulled the panic she had felt in the sphere. Her heartbeat was calm, the sweat had dried.
Even when she felt herself being manipulated, her wrists, ankles and neck being bared and then wrapped, her mind was still too clouded to react to what was happening to her. Only when she was being affixed to some kind of chain she saw who it was that handled her. The... beings..., there was no other word to describe them at the moment, were big. And even as she watched them they moved away from her and onto another woman that had just been dumped where she had been lying just moments before she was moved away.
Bit by bit her head cleared slightly but she still couldn't move when she arrived at some kind of chamber. The man before her managed to struggle feebly but was inserted into the chamber nonetheless. A few seconds later, she herself was being dragged into it by the chain they all were affixed to. It closed around her like some horrible travesty of a chocolate surprise egg, the surprise being what would happen to her next. It was dark inside and she felt fear rise inside her again when the air inside the egglike chamber grew very humid very quickly. Was she to drown inside this chamber? To suffocate? Breathing became more and more difficult with every second until she couldn't stand it anymore and nearly passed out. It was then that cold but wonderfully fresh air was blasted inside the chamber from the things that had been wrapped around her wrists and ankles and her neck. She shuddered as the cold air brushed over her bare skin. Hadn't she had clothes on? She couldn't remember for a moment but when the chamber opened to eject her at the other side she was able to direct her gaze towards her torso and could see her favourite yellow t-shirt together with a pair of shorts and sneakers. There was something weird about them however but she couldn't get a hold onto what it was that was weird about them, her head was still way too cloudy.
It took some time for her to arrive at the next station after having survived the surprise egg. Her head had cleared some more and she could decide where to look. When she arrived at the station and saw more of the beings and what they were doing to the men and women that had been sucked into the hole before her she wished her head was still clouded to the point of her being delirious. She had no control over her body and could not even try to get away while everything in her screamed to flee whichever way possible. Her heart was beating more quickly again, her skin was wet with perspiration. Everything turned around her and she felt dizzy. There wasn't enough air and she couldn't take deeper breaths! She wanted to scream, to let her distress out and be heard but she couldn't move a muscle.
She was dimly aware that the man in front of her was moving on and that it would be her turn any second now. She felt herself being moved along and they came onto her. Both beings held things that looked like huge potato peelers and were waiting for the chain to deposit her between them. One before her and one behind, she watched in horror as the peeler was applied first to her feet and legs, then her torso and finally to her bare arms. Her sneakers and shorts peeled away in long ribbons without any difficulty on the part of the beings that obviously though her to be some kind of potato, as did her t-shirt and bra. It didn't matter now that it was her favourite yellow t-shirt, she was panicking inside and had no way of letting it out. The peeler was then applied to her face by the being in front of her and with a few very efficient movements her glasses were peeled away and in pieces too. Now she couldn't even see what was about to happen to her anymore!
She didn't know whether to be thankful to not be able to see what was coming or terrified that she wouldn't be able to see it until it was upon her. As it was her thoughts were swirling inside her head more and more quickly. They presented her scenarios one more horrible then the next and still she was sure that what was in store for her would be more terrible than anything she could come up with.
