Chapter 33

THANK YOU FOR 38K!!!

-Emilia's Pov-

"Emilia." She huffs.

"Emilia?"

"So what now? You're just going to ignore me. I said I was sorry"

"You're acting like a child Em. We both know this."

"What do you want!" I whip around. She just stands there with droopy eyes and a wearing frown. She moves her arm to adjust her backpack on her shoulder, something she did when she was upset.

"I want to talk. You've been ignoring me all break, I thought you were dead."

"I might as well be" I mutter. She hands me an unamused look to which I hand back an eye roll. Something that normally would make us laugh just makes us frown even more.

"Can we talk?"

"We are."

"Emilia. You are getting on my last nerve."

"Yep." I say, popping the p. She yanks my arm, dragging me across the hallway to a hallway that was empty. It was used as the theater hallway for after school, no one came down here during the day. She yanks my arm again,pushing me forward.

"We are going to talk about this Em. You just can't keep avoiding me. You seen me Monday. It's now Thursday!"

"I was hoping, if you didn't realize, that you would just leave me alone. I don't have anything to say to you."

"And that is you saying you don't know what to say. This is something you can't ignore Emilia. You kissed me and expected me to be perfectly fine with it."

"I didn't expect you to be fine with it. I expected you to be shocked, maybe a tiny bit mad but not run to Michael, telling Jasmine and everyone and then having my phone blow up with threats and telling me I was a whore and a whole lot of other shit. So no Lilly, that's in no way how I thought you would react."

"So you decided to ignore me? Because that would fix the problem." She pushes. I let out an annoyed huff. She's stubborn, showing no attitude or emotion. She's just trying to get something out of me and I frankly can't have someone else furious with me right now.

"No. In case you weren't aware. My first 5 days of break were of me crying my eyes out in my room. I spent the rest of it with Jaden trying to be civilized again. I'm gravely sorry if that didn't include bonding with you over something that doesn't even matter anymore."

"That's a kid of bullshit and we know that." She snorts. A finger raises to my chest and she keeps it there while she continues to talk. "If you liking girls didn't matter anymore than you would've told me sooner and if you weren't still questioning yourself then you would just accept it and move on."

"It doesn't matter Lilly. I don't care about what I believe in anymore or who I like. It all turns to shit. Every single thing of it."

"You don't believe that."

"Stop trying to tell me what I believe in!" I shout. She shakes her head as I storm off,  pushing pst the corner she has got me in. My backpack swishes side to side as I stride down the hallway, my steps amplifying every step.

When I'm suddenly against the wall, my chest tightens. I'm incased in a small barrier with hands on either side. My mind runs a mile a second, trying to not recall event but everything come back.
