Emilia's Pov-

I watched as he walked past me with her, hand in hand. If I was being honest with myself, it stung a little bit. I wasn't holding a grudge anymore against the whole kiss thing as it died down in a week or so but I just couldn't bring myself back to him.

I was scared.

I was scared of all the possibility being friends with him meant. If he did even want to be friends. He seemed pretty fine with letting me go and that's what this was suppose to be. Biology project for a week and leave. Quick and simple Emilia, it went that way so stop being so butt hurt. He can do as he pleases, if that's getting with her in front of the whole school, he can do him.

"What the actual-"

"fuck." I finish her sentence. I look towards Lily who's eyes are popping out of her sockets. She looks stunned. I am too but i'm not surprised someone took interest in him. He isn't my type but that's his type.

"She just fucking moved here" she groans. She was yet indeed correct. Jasmine just moved here not longer than maybe a month or so ago and she is already queen bee. I guess that's just what happens when you have the pretty and rich privilege. No hate towards her it just annoyed both of us.

"You will have that. She's gorgeous and all the guys are gonna be on-top of her" I shrug, wanting to change the subject.

"I guess, so did you know there's a party tomorrow night!"

"no." I instantly denied, there was no way in hell I was going to a party. Sure, she was considered my best-friend at this point and we spend almost every night together but no way i'm going to this party. Those weren't my scenes.

"Emilia pleaseee!!!" She begs. The random students still around direct there heads towards me.

"Nope, end of discussion. You may be apart of the popular flick but absolutely not. End of discussion."

"What if I tell you Jad-" She begins to say but i'm thankfully cut off by someone.

"Hi ladies" I instantly regret saying I was thankful. I slowly turn my head to see Michael standing there with a soft smile on his face. This fucking ass hat was talking to 50 different girls including Lily. He was a player and he needed to get his head knocked in.

"Hi!" Lily chirped. My eyes go to her sending her a warning glare before she shrugs it off and continues to talk. Most of it I zone out for.

"You should tell Em to come to the party tomorrow". I have been zoned out for the past few minutes growing plants on my phone and I zoned back in as soon as she says this.

"I thought you said she was going?" He asked. My mouth drops to the floor, she didn't not just do me like that.

"Lily!" I shout. She sends me a weak smile before sending a glare at Micheal. I see why the guy fall for her, she's cute. I'll let this fucking slide.

"Don't worry Princess, you don't have to if you don't want too but i'm assuming the other princess next to you will make you" He smiles. I scoff before pushing him and walking off.

"Never call me princess again you street rat" I shout as I exist the school. I hear them both laugh as the door closes. I hated them two together, they were fucking annoying. Both street rats.

I laugh as a shake my head, digging my car keys out of my bag. I was planning on reading a bit before just heading to bed for the night. I needed to catch up on some much needed sleep.

I hated every single one of these messages. At first they have freaked me out but now there just plain old annoying. Me and Lily have come to the decision to just say they were kids messing around, because they were but I can't help the growing anxiety these cause. I know they are fake but what if they were real.

That was a thing I was ready to cross at another time and get wasted tonight.

I was slowly getting happy again.
