"(Y/N), dear. You have to wake up," your step mother shakes you. "It's your graduation ceremony."

Seven years. After seven years of staying at States, you are finally graduating. Your original plan was to go back to Japan once you move on but guess what, you ended up staying since you can't leave your family.

Never, not even once, you thought you would get along with your father, let alone his family. However, they treated you so right that you don't even know what else do you need. You never imagine that they are nice people.

When you asked them not to mention anything about Japan, even about your mother, they complied. Instead of going back to your past, they made new memories with you. You were happy. You were satisfied.

About Sugawara, your friend, and the rest of the team, you never talk to them after you left. I know it's cruel but you made it as a part of moving on.

Speaking of them, you never opened their gifts, not even touched. You wondered where did they put those. Did they threw it all away?

After your graduation ceremony, you celebrated on a fancy restaurant. They were proud of you, and of course, you're also proud of them.

"Big sis," Sam called you. "Are you brave enough to go back to Japan?"

"Why does it sounds like you're challenging me? Of course, it's the original plan."

"You should really show that to your mother. I bet she's so proud of you," your stepmom said.

"Thanks, aunt."

Sam knew about you being her half sister when she was 7 and she still accepted you, nothing on her personality and treatment changed.

"When are you going back?" your father asked.

"Maybe, next month? Let me just rest for the next weeks."

"You should really take me there. I wish I can study there. Oh, maybe you can take care of me!" Sam excited stated. "Please..."

"Ask your parents. It's not a problem for me," you smiled at her and winked.

"And then let me meet your first love Suga-"

"Stop."

"Oh my gosh, why didn't I know about your first love?" your stepmom asked.

"I had no idea either. I thought you weren't interested in dating." your dad.

"Well, she still like him." Sam.

"I'm not gonna tell you anything about me anymore, Sam."

"Oops, sorry."

You all laughed and enjoyed the dinner together. You ended telling everything about him and you just realized how much you like him even until now.

The next morning, Sam went to school, leaving you and your parents alone. Their jobs doesn't start early.

They had breakfast with you and during that, you asked them if you could talk to them about something important. They agreed so you settled down in your yard once you finished cleaning up.

"First, this may be offending, but why did you leave mom? And me?" you.

"Actually, the truth is... I didn't leave. Your mother pushed me away."

"Huh?"

Your emotions started mixing and you don't know what to think anymore. He seems like a faithful and responsible husband so what he says might be true. But why would your mother lie to you?
