Hinata POV

I sighed carrying my small backpack with me. I wonder why she didn't ask for anything, probably too tired to say anything. Though, I'm a bit worried about her. She's been very quiet for about a week or so. Sighing again, I continue to walk towards the gate. How am I suppose to know my mission if nobody explains the details for me?

"Hinata," a voice like Uchiha said behind me. I turned around to face Sasuke.

"G-good morning, S-Sasuke." I greeted him. He nodded and walked with me to the gate. It was silence along the way though I don't mind, we don't pretty much talk to each other so we have nothing to worry about.

"When did you get earrings?" Sasuke asked. I jumped in surprise because I thought no one would notice them.

"Uh, about a month ago?" I asked unsure. That was only half the truth, it wasn't earring. It's stuck to me, literally stuck to my ears.

"Since when did you ever thought of taking one?" He asked me suspiciously. I started to panicked cuz if he knows I'm dead for sure and that was part of the contract.

"Uh, you see....um, uh I saw Kiba....sister! Yea, Hana wore one so I-I thought I should wear one too." I lied. I don't really know if Hana wears earrings or not, I feel guilty for lying to Sasuke and using Hana.

"Hn" he said making me sigh in relief, can't believe he actually bought it though. We kept walking about the size of a football field foot away from the gate.

"Hinata, are you bipolar?" Sasuke asked and I shook my head. I then tilt my head in confusion. Do I seem like one? I thought by yesterday, he should already know it was an act.

"Why you ask?" I asked. He shrugged and mutter 'it's nothing.' I looked forward to the road were on.

"Sorry about last night, I kinda got mad and held it against you." I apologized to him.

"It's alright," he said. At least he accept my apologies.

"Good, so can you do me a favor and forget that incident. It was a terrible mistake of mine." I said. We were closer to the gate then we thought. I could see Naruto waving at us. I waved back, Kakashi-sensei saw us and put his book away.

"Ok, everyone's here so let's get going." He told us all. We walked separately from each other guarding Tazuna in an odd square. I was in the back with Kakashi sensei who's next to Tazuna while I'm further away from them.

"Hinata, why don't you come here." Kakashi-sensei said. I nod walking closer to him. He patted my hair making me wonder why he's petting my hair. I hold up his hand in the air to stop petting my head. He started to laughed and I pouted.

"What's so funny?" I asked frowning. He shuffled my hair giving me a smile under his mask.

"It's nothing, I never thought a Hyuuga would be this cute much closer. You do resemble your mom so I bet you're your dad's favorite." He said. I bit down my lip looking down. The truth is, his favorite is Hanabi. If I were to be much stronger than his mind would change. However, I can't take that away from Hanabi. I'll just have to find my own family, a family that appreciates me as who I am not about powers and destiny.

"Hinata, is something wrong?" Kakashi asked. I shook my head and faked a smiled.

"It's nothing" I said and he nod. I hate the fact that my clans are all about powers and destiny, it means nothing to me.

"Hey Hinata! Whatcha thinking?!" Naruto exclaimed breaking my thoughts.

"About my clan, why?" I asked faking a smile. He grinned but I didn't feel anything at all, I just don't think he's right for me. Beside, he's into Sakura so much he doesn't even noticed me so I don't stand a chance at all.
