solivagant -
wandering alonefor the following week, i was trying to find my way for an apartment for myself. luckily i was able to and the place was quite cheap. it had all i needed. two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, living room, and a few other things here and there.
i got all my things i wanted or needed and had them sent to my house. as i was unpacking one of my boxes, there was a small knock on the door. i made my way over and opened it to see pony standing there dressed nicely.
i looked at him confused. "and you're nice and dressed up because?" i asked as i opened the door wider to allow him inside. "well i am taking you on a date." he said as he took a few steps inside.
a surprised look flashed on my face. "you know, i never have been on a date." i said as i took a seat on the couch. pony came and sat next to me and placed his hand on my thigh.
"well i am glad i'm your first." he said as i could tell his cheeks were becoming more red. we talked for at least half an hour and even helped me unpack one of my boxes.
"i'll be back at about 6. be ready!" he told me as he left the apartment. a smile slowly crept its way onto my face. as i closed the door i turned around to look at my new surroundings.
i was quite proud of myself. yes, i was still somewhat struggling, but i was out of an abusive home and i was doing great mentally. and now i had a boy in my life who meant so much to me.
6 came around quicker than expected. i wore some nice mom jeans and a white short sleeve with a small black sweater on top. i wore small gold hoop earrings and a little brown ropebracelet.
i walked into the kitchen and looked at the clock on the wall to read 5:50. i took a seat on the small stool and there was another small knock on the door. i flattened out my jeans and quietly made my way over to the door.
i opened it to see pony holding a small bouquet of multiple flowers. i was in absolute awe. i took them from him and placed them on the counter.
he then took my hand in his and we made our way to our date. we seemed to have been taking a way i never had before. "pony, i really don't want to die today." he chuckled at my comment.
"and why would i kill you?" he asked me. i just shrugged my shoulders and a small laugh escaped my lips.
somehow, we had ended up in a semi forest area and then i saw lights in one little area. as pony stepped out the way, i saw a wooden table with two chairs, candles and fairy lights set around, and a little picnic basket.
my open hand immediately met my mouth. i felt happy tears in my eyes but i didn't let them slip out.
we walked our way over and sat in the two chairs. he grabbed some food out of the basket and placed some in front of me.
"did you do this all yourself?" i asked as i stared around in awe. he chuckled at my comment. "i wish i was this talented. soda helped me since he's taken out sandy on multiple dates." i nodded at his response.
my heart was fluttering and i could feel my cheeks were red and i was blushing. we ate in a comfortable silence. we both finished and i was still looking around, i felt pony staring at me.
i met my eyes with his and as i did, he quickly looked away and scratched the back of his neck. a small chuckle came out of my lips.
"thank you for all you have done pony. from the day i've met you until this moment now."
i said as i crossed my right leg over my left. "of course. you mean so much to all of us, well me the most."
