Valerio entered his room, standing in the centre of the large room; like a volcano ready to erupt, Valerio destroyed everything within his reach, only stopping when his dragon spoke to him.Sliding down to the ground, Valerio closed his eyes, putting down the current lamp in his hands.

"Connasdaim, I am confused; what exactly does he want.? Why won't he accept me.."

**"Our mate is human; give him some time,"**

"Is he punishing me because of his mother?"

**"Maybe, but let's keep that information from our mate; for now, I don't think he knows the relationship between his mother and us."

"Mn"

Valerio heeded the wise words of his other half, knowing that the other was right; his mate would need time to adapt and digest everything around him. Knowing full well that he is considered a mythical creature only told in storybooks. If he were human, he would also be hysteric.

Gino got out of bed and went outside; once there, he sat on the green grass in front of the villa, where he could faintly hear waves crashing against the rocks.

It's been a few days that he has been here; when will Valerio take him back to the mainland? As these words crossed Gino's mind, a dark shadow flying in the sky blocked the sun. Getting up from where he was sitting, Gino used his hands to block out part of the sun still shining down on him.

Suddenly, a giant creature landed with a loud thud from behind, standing a few feet away from him; turning to look, Gino was in awe; there, standing not far from him, was a dragon, the same one he saw Valerio turn into yesterday on the beach.

Gino eyed the creature in front of him before strolling toward it; once he reached the dragon's snout, Gino carefully but slowly put his right palm against its smooth skin.Touching the giant dragon, Gino was surprised to feel its smooth skin. Despite its looks from afar, one would think it was rough and rugged to the touch with its scaly skin.

"You are so beautiful," commented Gino

After hearing Gino's compliment, the giant scaly creature let out a huff indicating that it did not like the praise causing Gino's golden blond hair to be blown about on his head.

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry", chuckled Gino

"Your mesmerising; how about that..."

At those words, the giant creature pushed its large nostril towards Gino.

"What is your name?"

**"Connasdaim is my name..."**

Gino looked at Connasdaim in surprise and then spoke.

"You can understand and talk to me..."

**"Yes, beautiful, we are bonded with each other; I can feel everything you feel..."**

"I see, so that's how it is."

Gino took a few steps back and looked at Connasdaim, wondering how this beautiful mythical creature could belong to him.

It was just too good to be true.

While Gino was still contemplating his thought, Connasdaim suddenly lowered his body to the ground, lifted his head and looked straight at Gino.

"What is it, Connasdaim..."

**"Get on, Beautiful; I want to show you something..."**

"Are you sure?"

Connasdaim did not reply but gently pushed Gino towards his back, urging him to get on. Gino looks at Connasdaim's body, thinking about how he would get on with his head, only reaching up to Connasdaim's belly.

It was then he felt large claw hands tapping him on the back. Turning to look, Connasdaim laid its massive claw on the ground for Gino to get on, then gently lifted Gino to its head.

**"Slid down my neck and held on tight, Beautiful..."**

Gino did as he was told; as soon as he was comfortable, Connasdaim got up from the ground, stretched out its large scaly wings and took off to the sky.

Gino peeked down at the spot he was occupying until everything, including the villa, got smaller and smaller each time they ascended into the sky. Feeling the wind on his face, Gino let out his hands holding on to Connasdaim and screamed with all his might.

After endless flying, Connasdaim finally lowered them to the ground; once they reached the bottom, Gino slid down with the help of Connasdaim; once his feet touched the ground, Gino fell onto the green grass, his legs stiff from sitting.

Getting up from the ground, Gino walked from the clearing where they had landed to the sound of a nearby waterfall.Gino pushed through the last row of trees to see the most beautiful place he had ever seen, in the middle of the forest, surrounded by tall green trees and wildflowers varying in different colours.

Exiting the forest, Gino walked further into the enchanted place, where he saw a mystic clear blue pond filled with water falling from the top of the cliff a few feet away.

From the waterfall to the small clear pond, tiny birds and butterflies fluttered their wings around the water, making everything feel peaceful. Gino stepped forward but stopped when he felt muscular arms encircled around his waist.
