Unpierceable Love

"It is a good idea, sir, to have our company partnering up with local businesses. Not only will we get people to see our product, but the business will also be booming for The Bristo," said Chris standing next to Valerio, looking down at the crowd below.

Valerio didn't reply, only occasionally taking a sip of champagne from his glass. A moment had passed before the door to the room opened, and in he walked Chris's brother Rob.

"Rob, is everything set? Are we ready to start the show?"

"Yes, Gino just arrived. I have sent him to get his makeup done. Please follow me to your seats."

"Sir, should we go."

Valerio turned away from the window with a nod and followed the two brothers out; arriving at their seats, Rob gestured for Valerio to take his spot on the leather chair next to the empty seat reserved for Xander. In contrast, he sat on the opposite side of the runway next to his brother Chris.

Thirty minutes later, once all the guests were seated, a tall, handsome man dressed in a black suit and white sneakers walked onto the small runway with a microphone and spoke.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I welcome you to The Bristo; Enterprise Inc is sponsoring tonight's events. Please give a round of applause to the CEO of Enterpise Inc, Mr Valerio."

Just as his name was spoken, the light was shown on Valerio, making him get up from his seat and wave at the people seated around the stage before sitting back down. Cheers from the women could be heard coming from all directions.

"Thank you, Mr Valerio; we have already found our crowd favourite, ladies and gentlemen. I kindly remind you to please allow our models to finish their walk before making your purchase. Now that that is out let us get started."

The first model made her way onto the walkway with applause from the audience. Every model present showcases their product individually in hopes of getting a suitable buyer. After all the models made their way onto the stage throughout the evening, Gino was the last person to present his product.

Arriving at the stage, Gino got up onto the platform and walked, catching the attention of everyone present. Gino was dressed in black, with white feather wings and light makeup, making him look exquisite and alluring.

One man, in particular, got up and went to the stage, waiting for Gino to finish his walk before speaking.

"I want to buy you, all of you. How much."

"Excuse me, sir, I am not for sale," said Gino coming down from the platform and trying to make his way inside

Not giving up, the man grabbed Gino's hand, preventing him from going further.

"Then spend a night with me. I promise you won't regret it."

Before Gino could speak, much larger hands grabbed onto the hand holding Gino's wrist.

"Let him go."

"You, who are you? why are you interfering in my business,"

Valerio did not answer but continued to stare the man down a few moments later; footsteps could be heard coming from behind the man

"Mark, what are you doing."

"Rob, it is good you are here. Who is this man? Get security to show him the way out.

"Mark, do you not know who this is.."

" A worthless person like him does not have the privilege to know who I am," said Valerio in a cold voice.??

"You.."

"Enough, Mark, let's go."

"No, I came here to buy your products that are being showcased on tonight's runway in hopes of helping a good cause, but I can see now that you are not delivering what you promised. I want to buy him along with the products."

"I'm sorry, Mark, but he is not for sale, only the objects he wears."Before Mark could reply, Valerio took Gino's hand and led him out of the venue, not stopping until they reached Valerio's limousine.

"Please inform Xander that I will go ahead first," said Valerio opening the door for Gino to get in.

After speaking to the driver, Valerio got in behind Gino and shut the door, waiting until his chauffeur returned from errands.

Gino felt the air around him become very gloomy, making breathing hard.
