Hi there friends...woah so it's been a while...ummm I'm really sorry about that but I have an excuse! Kinda....
So here is goes...
In September I was diagnosed with chronic compartment syndrome in my leg, which means that the lining of a muscle in my leg isn't releasing pressure when blood flows through. I didn't honk it was that serious and I was put in rest for 2 weeks. But because I'm an idiot I ended up on crutches for over 2 months and almost had my leg amputated...so that's been interesting. At the moment I'm on a road to recovery which includes a variety of things with needles and electricity and pain management which is a ton of fun (note the sarcasm). After a ton of tests and months of therapy I'm still not sure if I'm keeping this leg so that's really scary for me and I was depressed for a long period of time.
I think the reason I stopped writing this story was because it hit to close to home for me. I didn't want to think about what my emotions and what skylars emotions would be because I could possibly be experiencing them soon enough and that is really fricken scary.
So yeah... It's been a really long time and I don't know when or if I will write again.
I know I've just been shitty but I'm sorry and I'm horrible I know.
You guys deserve more.Buuuut with good news I'm at 1.3k reads which is insane...I mean my goal was 1k and I'm already above that and I just love y'all.
Feel free to drop me a line!
Love you
Erika
