Flashback

"So he's actually one of us now," I teased. "I thought one Dazai was enough, but two of them!" Osamu and I laughed at the newbie, Chuuya. "What can we say we are twins." "Yes, but I'm still your older brother," Osamu teased. "You're only older by 5 minutes!" "I don't think I'll ever get used to this," Chuuya sighed.

If only things could go back to how they were.

Flashback

"Chuuya!" I called running down the hallway. It was the middle of the night, but I didn't care. "Chuuya!" I called again banging on his door. "What do you-" he stopped talking when he saw the tears streaming down my cheeks. "He's gone! He really left. Odasaku must've told him something that made him leave. Osamu's gone!" I clutched onto his smaller form. He wrapped his arms back around me and rubbed circles on my back. "Bastard. Who leaves his own sister behind?" "Osamu would never try to hurt me, he'd only do what he knew is best for me." I handed him the piece of paper that was left in his office. "I didn't read it, but it was addressed to you." He opened it, looked back up at me, and nodded. "Stay here tonight," he said.

Flashback end

It's been four years since Osamu left. I missed him a little more each day. We were super close and always looked out for each other. Even when Chuuya joined the three of us had fun, no matter how much we liked to argue and tease him. 

After Osamu left Chuuya stuck with me. I enjoyed him and we became partners, but it wasn't the same. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't taken a liking towards him, but I knew he didn't feel the same way, after all I was a Dazai. 

"This place is so fucking boring," I whined while walking the hallways. "You just miss Chuuya don't you?" I looked over and saw my good friend Higuchi. "I mean I don't really do much when he isn't around," I said with a smile. "I think he's coming back soon. I get how you feel though, I always really miss Mr. Akutugawa when he leaves." Her face was red when she said this. "One day it'll happen don't worry," I said patting her back. "Anyway I'm going to the basement. I don't know why but I have a feeling I should go there," I said. "Ok bye (Y/N)."

Why the basement? Similarly to my brother I was very smart and had good intuition, but it still confused me sometimes. I got so lost in thought I didn't notice where I was walking until I bumped into someone. I looked down and saw Chuuya. WAIT CHUUYA! "You're back!" I said giving him a hug. "Man I get you missed me but isn't this a bit much?" I pulled back and saw his cheeks had a pink hue on them. "Aw someone got embarrassed by my hug," I teased. "S-shut up!" "Anyway I'm going to the basement, where are you off to?" He looked at me weirdly. "I'm also going to the basement. How come you're going down there?" "Weird intuition is telling me to," I replied. He nodded and we walked down together, I was not expecting what I was about to see. 

"(Y/N)?" I looked up, that voice. "OSAMU!" I swear in that moment time had stopped. I felt my eyes get watery and I fell to my knees. "Chuuya did you know he was here?" I asked looking up at him. He nodded. "Well isn't this the perfect reunion," Osamu said. "I thought I would only see Chuuya, which would've been horrible. But now I get to see my little sister too!" 

"You bastard! I can't believe you left her like this!" Chuuya yelled and punched Osamu. "You should know I left her here because that was best for her," Osamu said. He managed to get out of the chains and now those two were full out fighting. I wasn't paying much attention to them since I was still trying to comprehend the situation. More tears spilled out of my eyes and I felt a pair of arms wrap around me from behind.

"I missed you little sis," Osamu said. I hugged him back and cried some more. "I didn't think I'd see you again." "I'm not leaving you behind forever. Also Chuuya, seems like maybe you've actually grown up a bit. Age wise clearly not height wise." A now irked Chuuya came rushing towards us. "EXCUSE ME!" "Knock it off you two," I said. "(Y/N) and I have to get out of here before we get caught," Chuuya said. "He's right. Osamu I'll be seeing you soon," I said smiling. "Let's go," Chuuya called. "Wait Chuuya you have to do the thing," Osamu teased. I saw Chuuya sigh before he turned around. "Next time you won't be so lucky!" he said in the girliest voice he could do. "HAHAHAHAHA!" I burst out laughing as we walked away.

"Hey Chuuya," I started. "Don't even bring up that embarrassing ass thing I just did." I laughed. "Well that wasn't what I was going to say. Anyway what was that note Osamu gave you that night four years ago?" He looked up for a second and then back at me. "He wanted me to look after and protect you, but I think you're doing just fine. Now when it comes down to it though I want to protect you because I love you." He loves me? "You love me?" He flinched like he hadn't meant to say that. "Y-yeah I do," he muttered. I ran up and pecked his cheek. "Good because I love you too."
