Atsushi Nakajima

Atsushi's POV

Kyouka and (Y/N) Izumi were just rescued and kinda taken in by us. What if the others are hostile toward them? Kyouka seems pretty calm and quiet, but her older sister on the other hand I'm not so sure. I mean she's cute and seemed nice, but a lot more violent than Kyouka was, plus she has a fire demon. I'll just have to be ready to stop any fights. "Good morning everyone," I said walking into the room.

(Y/N)'s POV

"Are you guys sure about these outfits?" I hesitantly asked. When me and my younger sister arrived we were giving these maid outfits to wear, luckily they weren't revealing. "You guys look so cute!" Naomi reassured us. "Well if you're sure," I said. "Where's the weretiger boy? I never got to thank him." "Atsushi should be here any minute now," Kenji said. 

"Good morning everyone." We turned and he paused looking at me and my sister. "Do a spin for us!" Naomi cheered. We both did a spin and she went on about how cute we were. "What's going on here?" Atsushi asked. "It's incredible how great they look in anything," Junichiro said. "Kunikida," Atsushi called. "You're the one who wanted to save them kid."  "What about Ranpo, he's really strict about the rules?" Atsushi panicked. "Actually he's into it the most," Junichiro said. "I'm back!" We all turned to see Ranpo with a bag of treats. I took this time to go over to Atsushi.

"Oh hi (Y/N), is there something I can help you with?" I quickly hugged him. He stiffened before hugging me back. I tightened my grip on him. "You saved me and my younger sister from them, thank you." "Y-yeah no problem." He pulled back and looked at me. "Who asked you two to come here anyway?"

"I did." We turned to see the President. "The Port Mafia erased their identities, so the government shouldn't be after them yet," Kunikida said. "That being said it's dangerous for them to stay here." I looked at my sister and I could tell we had the same fear. "I'll vouch for them." We turned to see Atsushi. "Kid did you not hear how bad of an idea that is!" Kunikida said. "Please let us stay," I said to the President. "Please consider," Kyouka said. "Please consider," I said. We both looked at each other. "Please consider." "I'll take them in," he said before leaving.

We ended up being sent to dorm with Atsushi. We got there and it was pretty late so we assumed Atsushi was asleep. When we walked in we saw that was the case. "Kyouka you can sleep on the couch and I'll take the floor," I said. "Are you sure?" I nodded and reassured her it was fine. I made myself comfy and made sure that she was asleep before I was. After I noticed she was sound asleep I closed my eyes and soon fell asleep myself. 

"Finally you're awake." I opened my eyes to see Akutagawa and Mori. "H-how did I get here?" I was tied to a chair in a dark room. "Akutagawa managed to find you and bring you back. They won't find you this time," Mori said and began to walk out. "Feel free to punish the traitor as you please." I looked back as him, I was dead. "Rashoumon!" It came hurdling near me and just as it hit me I opened my eyes.

"I-it was a d-dream," I whispered. Tears were falling down my face, I was breathing heavy, and uncontrollably shaking. I looked over at my sister, she was sound asleep and I knew I couldn't bother her. I carefully got up and walked as quietly as I could to find Atsushi's room. I found him curled and sound asleep. I quietly walked towards him and laid down next to him, he unconsciously wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer. My head was against his chest and his heartbeat helped calm me and fall back asleep.

"HUH?" I woke up startled. "W-what are you doing here?" he asked me. "President sent us to live with you and I had a nightmare and I didn't wanna wake up Kyouka," I whispered. "Oh are you alright?" he asked, not noticing his arms were still around me. I snuggled closer to him and his face grew redder. "I am now." "We should probably get ready for work," he said and started to get up. "Are you still wearing the maid outfit?" "It's all I have for now." He thought about it. "After work I'll take you shopping alright?" My eyes lit up. "Sounds good!"

Work was finally over and Atsushi was going to take me shopping. Nothing happened for me or my sister, so I was excited. Yosano and Ranpo offered to take Kyouka to some sweet shop.

"Thanks again you two," I said and walked out with Atsushi. "Are you sure about this?" I asked. I was hesitant because he mentioned he needed money. "Of course, plus don't you get embarrassed wearing that outfit?" I shook my head. "Everyone at the Agency said I looked really cute, do you not think so?" I asked sadness in my voice. His face turned red again and he looked away. "It's super cute." "Aww thanks Sushi," I said hugging him and skipping ahead. 

Since I was up ahead I didn't hear Atsushi mumble, "I think I'm in love."
