Eclipse's POV

The fight felt like it was lasting forever. There were so many bodies... Both soldiers.. villagers, wolves and pirates.. Time came to a halt when Tobio approached the front of the fight. His mother and father walking with him. Tobio yelled for our people and allies to stop. The king and queen calling for their soldiers to stop.

The clashing of swords went silent, the only noise being cries of pain from mourning and injured who were swiftly being transported to the seas. Everyone turned their attention to the royal family standing in front of all of us. Tobio looking over the village.

"That is enough blood shed." He said, pulling a sword from the holder attached to his belt. He pointed it at the king and queen, guards looking ready to intervene.

"The people know your lies. So why don't you both share the rest." Tobio said, the king looking around. He looked at the bodies, most of the bodies being soldiers that were ripped apart. He took in a breath, looking back at my dad. The king said nothing, Tobio pointing the sword at the queen.

"No one here wants anyone else to die. But we will fight for what we want. You have two choices. You can step down gracefully. Relinquish the throne and we can end this now. Or you can order your men to continue fighting. And you both will be laying in the blood of your own people." My dad said sternly. Everyone seemed to hold their breaths, waiting for what would come next.

"As my parting words. May the next king die." The king said coldly, Tobio jerking the sword forward so the tip was touching the king's throat. The king didn't move, my father pulling the sword away slowly.

"Wish what you will on me and my family. But I am not you. I will not needlessly kill my own flesh and blood just to be in power. As you did to my brother." He said, letting the sword fall. The sound of the metal hit the stone floor rang throughout the entire village. The soldiers who were still standing kneeled to my father, the village people and our allies crying out in celebration.

Kuroo, Atsumu, Osamu, and Kenma all walked over. Looking pretty rough themselves, but mostly unharmed. They each grabbed the king and queen, pulling them aside as Tobio looked around. He ordered soldiers to throw their swords down and to return to the castle to find any survivors. He ordered the wolves to be quick and retrieve the healing potions we received from Oikawa. And he ordered the pirates to begin heading to their ships to tell the mermaids it was finally over.

I walked over to my dad, collapsing into his arms while crying. I couldn't stand to look anymore. I felt all of the dead men and women, even children, was my doing. My father held onto me tightly, kneeling to the ground as Shoyo stumbled over and joined in.

"Eclipse... you did perfectly.." Shoyo said, tears running down his own face as he looked at me. I continued to cry, hiding my face in both my fathers' chests like I would when I was a child and afraid of the dark. Both of them held me protectively, promising I did the right thing...

Grant's POV

It was over. Finally. I got off of the overworked horse, Akihiko sliding off as well and collapsing in my arms. I brushed my fingers through his hair, sitting right where we were and just holding him. Suna wandered over, holding out one of the small crystal viles with potion in it before scampering off to distribute more of the healing potions.

I opened the little vile, offering it to Akihiko who did suffer a couple wounds. Nothing major but passing cuts, scrapes and scars from all the swords surely hurt. He looked at it, shaking his head and gently pushing my hand away.

"No.. you take it."

"But my fathers have already healed my arm."

"Yeah, but they didn't heal this." He said, pulling up my shirt to reveal an awful looking scrape. Likely from when I fell from a moving horse and the rough stone ground cut into my skin. I didn't even feel it. But, as the adrenaline in my body was calming, it was beginning to hurt. I drank what was in the vile, feeling better rather quickly when Akihiko began crying again.

"Oh love... come here." I said, putting the vile away and wrapping my arms around him. He cried hard as I gently put my hand on the back of his head, holding his face to keep it nuzzled to my chest. I didn't want him to see the gory surrounding. It wasn't long before he gasped and pulled away.

"Yamaguchi.." He said with fear. I nodded, both of us getting up and returning to our horse. We made our way towards the crumbled palace, offering help to those we passed. I saw Eclipse, her body looking worn out from the fight as she was busy crying in her fathers' arms.

Once we reached the palace gates, Akihiko and I climbed off and walked through the rubble. In the courtyard that was left relatively untouched aside from large boulders of the palace walls and ceiling littered around, we saw the soldiers checking on different servants that they pulled from the rubble.

Many of the servants died..

Akihiko and I looked around in sorrow until we heard what sounded like Yamaguchi's voice crying. We rushed in the direction, seeing him sitting on the ground with Tsukishima's head in his lap. Tsukishima's eyes closed, blood dripping from his mouth and down to his chin. Akihiko did his best to not cry again, simply grabbing onto me and hiding his face in my side.

I watched in silence, Yamaguchi crying his heart out while begging for Tsukishima to wake up. It took what strength I had to not cry as well. If it weren't for Tsukishima, I would have just simply ran away. I would have lost to cowardice. I turned my head when a few servants who did survive made their way over.

They all looked worse for wear. Asahi was doing his best to carry a smaller servant in his arms that looked like he had sustained awful burns. Another man with plain brown hair holding his arm that looked broken and was bleeding. They all bowed their heads quietly while Yamaguchi grabbed Tsukishima's hand. Everything was silent except for the noise of a small clink of a pair of rings on their hands touching.
