Oikawa's POV
I fixed myself up before heading to the castle gates. Seeing the 3 that Hajime must have told me about. Hm. I don't know about the other two, but the younger boy looked like he'd be delicious. I grinned and allowed them inside, each, what I considered children, introducing themselves.
"So. You all have come for an audience for me?"
"Yes, your highness." The girl named Eclipse said politely. I nodded, looking at the one named Akihiko.
"Very well. But I wish to see you all one at a time. You, come with me." I said, pointing. Akihiko looked nervous, the oldest one named Grant narrowing his eyes at me. I just grinned and had the boy follow me while the guards stayed behind and watched the other two.
"U-Um... your highness. I really think that, that my other friends would be better to speak to about what we-"
"Shhh, this won't be long." I said, leading him to my room. Hajime knew what I was gonna do, so he must have gone elsewhere. I do hope he went to go eat to recover some of the blood I drained from him. I had the boy sit, sitting with him.
He didn't seem so sure what to do until I smiled, slyly grabbing both his wrists to keep him from resisting to much. Akihiko panicked a bit and looked at me wide-eyed when I bared my fangs to him. He let out a whimper as I brought my lips to his neck. Just by his scent, I could tell he'd taste good.
"Don't worry, you'll feel good." I said, sinking my fangs into his flesh. The boy cried out in pain as I pumped my aphrodisiac poison into him. The substance making it's way into his blood. It took effect on him much quicker compared to Hajime. Both because I used a lot more poison and the boy was smaller.
Almost instantly, the boy began melting in pleasure as I drank his blood. His eyes looked glazed over with tears as I licked at his skin. I paused, pulling away to lick the blood that dripped down my lips. The boy's body shaking as he muttered out weakly.
"P-please.. keep going." He said in a trance of pleasure. I grinned, bringing my face back to his neck.
"My pleasure."
Grant's POV
Why did the king insist on seeing us one at a time. And why Akihiko when Eclipse and I were the ones who told him that we were here to see him. The guards just stood there, but I was impatient and wanted to know what was taking so long. I nudged Eclipse, gesturing to the guards.
She stared at me a moment before nodding in understanding. There were only two guards, so we each walked up to one, grabbing the sides of their heads and hitting them against each other. Both guards passed out as I grabbed Eclipse's hand and dragged her off in the direction Oikawa had taken Akihiko.
I heard what sounded like Akihiko in a room, opening the door to find Oikawa feeding off of Akihiko. Eclipse gasped as we both rushed over. Oikawa let go of Akihiko who collapsed on the bed. The king looked ready to attack us both, but Eclipse shouted something at him that seemed to stop him in his tracks.
While he was distracted, I moved past him and sat on his bed, pulling Akihiko's head to my lap. Fuck, how much blood did he drink already.. he looks pale. I looked over at Eclipse who was talking to the king, who actually seemed to be listening to her with interest. I watched a bit longer to make sure she was alright before looking back down.
"Akihiko??"
"Mm.." He barely managed to mumble out. I let out a breath, glad he was alive. He tried to sit up a bit, but I held him still.
"Hey stay still, you'll collapse if you get up. You just lost way to much blood.." I said, listening to the final sentence Eclipse semi-shouted at the king. Oikawa looked rather guilty immediately. Turning and looking at me as I glared at him. He laughed and scratched the back of his head.
"Heh.... How was I supposed to know that you're Hinata's and Tobio's kid!" He said with a whine, Eclipse rolling her eyes. I scowled and just propped Akihiko up a little bit more in my lap, Oikawa apologizing profusely and calling for someone to bring in food. Someone walked in with a tray of different foods and some drinks.
I sighed, looking at what was there and grabbed the glass of apple juice. Helping tilt Akihiko's head so he could sip it. Oikawa awkwardly standing there with Eclipse who explained our reason for being here.
"So. You guys want us to help? Sounds like an awful lot of trouble and blood for two guys who I knew like over 10 years ago."
"Did my fathers do nothing for you?"
"Not really. In fact I was the one who helped them when they said they were lost."
"I see.."
"...Alright fine. How about this. As a serious apology for almost killing your friend, I'll help a little bit. I also do remember Hinata and Tobio. I quite liked them. Not to mention that king and queen nearly de-fanged half of my people. Now. Here's my deal. I am not throwing any of my own men into this mix, I'm not risking them dying. But we'll provide you with medicines, poisons, potions and salves. Deal?" Oikawa offered. Eclipse looked at me and shook Oikawa's hand when I nodded.
Oikawa said to give him a week in total to prepare the items and then send it to our kingdom. Eclipse warned him to not send it to the kingdom, and instead she will ask some werewolves to bring it. Oikawa looked annoyed but didn't disagree.
Vampires' incredible accuracy with arrows and projectiles would certainly have been more useful. But I will certainly take what I can get. So, once Eclipse had thoroughly talked with Oikawa about it, he told us we could leave and he'd be expecting a small werewolf pack to gather it in a week's time.
I carried Akihiko as we all left, Eclipse and I chuckling at the guards who were still knocked out. Once we were back at the inn, Eclipse sighed as I gently laid Akihiko down.
"Is he alright??" She asked with worry.
"He'll be okay. But he needs to recover and to eat and drink plenty."
"Okay. Okay I'm gonna go out to the markets and get food. I'll be back in an hour okay??"
"Yes. Thank you. Be safe okay?"
"Yes dad." She said with a smile, grabbing some coins before running off to get what we needed. Akihiko would need more food than just the crackers and dried beef we had, so I'll be relieved once Eclipse returns and we can all eat something proper.
"Ngh... Grant?" Akihiko muttered, opening his eyes. I smiled faintly, sitting beside him on the bed, brushing my fingers through his hair.
"It's alright, I'm right here."
"What happened..."
"I'll tell you once you feel better. Right now you need to rest so we can go speak to my father tomorrow, okay?"
"Okay.." He mumbled and let his eyes close again. I sighed, getting up to get him a cool rag when he peaked grabbed my hand. He opened his eyes and looked at me quietly. I sighed, sitting back down with a nod.
"Alright. I'll stay here."
