Eclipse

Chapter 20

Grant's POV

We were back on our trip. Akihiko yawning as he clung to me. Eclipse busy talking to her horse who almost looked like it was responding with head nods and whinnies. 

"Grant?"

"Mhm."

"So. When are we gonna talk to your dad about his help too??"

"After we speak to Oikawa. His kingdom is right off the edge of the sea not to far from where I live. So we will take a fast detour there, and then go find Saeko." I said, Akihiko nodding and going back to dozing off. I checked the compass I packed along with the map of the kingdoms. We still had another day or two before we'd even reach the kingdom. 

Eclipse and Akihiko didn't seem to accustomed to long trips, both seeming a bit worn out already. And honestly, I wasn't used to it either. But we all knew that we had a lot more ahead of us than just riding a horse for days and hours at a time.

Two Days Time Skip

Fucking, FINALLY. We were at the kingdom.. Of course we didn't ride for 2 days straight, we took some breaks... but, it will be so nice to find an inn and rest there a few hours before going to speak to Oikawa. Akihiko seemed exhausted, but Eclipse seemed excited.

I'm glad that Tsukishima managed to sneak and give Akihiko some extra gold coins before we left. I paid for a stable for overnight for the horses, and went to an inn. Eclipse tried to persuade Akihiko and I to go explore with her, but we were both too tired.

"Aw you guys are no fun. Fine, I'm going out myself then."

"Okay. But you be careful. Okay?"

"I promise, dad." She said teasingly. I smiled and rolled my eyes, telling her that she was only allowed to be out for a couple hours. Eclipse tried to bargain for more time but I told her if she didn't return home in 4 hours, I'd find her myself. She sighed and agreed, giving me a kiss on the cheek before running off quickly.

I laid on the bed, sighing when Akihiko quietly climbed into bed next to me. He looked at me with a tilted head before clearing his throat.

"So, I'm curious. Are you and Eclipse not a thing or something? But she kisses you?"

"Well, she and I are friends. I've known her practically since she was a baby."

"Oh..."

"Something wrong?"

"No. I was just curious. So. You guys are just friends?"

"Mhm. She's almost like family to me. Kind of like a little sister. A pretty one." I said with a small chuckle. Akihiko nodded in agreement before laying down with me. He cuddled up to me before clearing his throat. I looked down at him, watching him slightly tug at the fabric of my shirt before tilting his chin up and kissing him.

He blushed slightly and kissed me back, asking what I was doing.

"Well. We were interrupted a few nights ago, weren't we?"

"B-but-"

"If you're tired than we can just rest." I said, Akihiko looking flustered. I laughed, accepting the shy kiss he leaned down to give me to make me stop laughing at him. Without pulling away, I carefully rolled him on top of me so he was laying on me. 

A moan, that got me far to excited feeling, left Akihiko's mouth when I gently bit his bottom lip. I've never done this before, but I just proceeded to do what felt good. After a bit, we both decided to stop. So Akihiko settled for taking a nap on top of me.

I put an arm around him so he wouldn't accidentally roll off before sighing. I wonder if Osamu and Suna were right about Oikawa being, not very nice. When I spoke to Eclipse's dad about him, he said that Oikawa actually saved them once and was very kind. But, even the kindest people can change. 

Oikawa's POV

"I'm hungry."

"Then get food."

"I'm not THAT kinda hungry.."

"Toru."

"Hajimeeeeee."

"Ugh. FINE." I smiled, my husband pulling the collar down from his shirt. I sat in his lap, dragging my tongue along his skin before sinking my fangs into his flesh. I always hated to see my husband grunt in pain when I first bite him, so just as always, I'd let some of the "poison" I had in my fangs to seep into his blood.

It wasn't long before Hajime was moaning in pleasure as I drank his blood. Once I felt satiated, I pulled away. My husband looking a bit dazed from the intense pleasure, and looking like he was begging me to keep going until he died. But, even with that irresistible look of his, I wasn't gonna do that. Though every time I fed on him, it was tempting~

"Are you okay, Hajime?"

"Ngh... yeah." He mumbled, coming back to his senses. I kissed him, laughing when my husband scrunched his nose at the taste of leftover blood on my tongue and lips.

"I will never understand how you drink that." He said with a sigh.

"Your blood tastes better than any other I've had."

"Tastes like blood to me."

"Well to meeee, it tastes so sweet." I said, craving more of his blood but I also knew that if I took any more, he'd get faint from blood loss. He rolled his eyes and told me go brush my fangs. I laughed and climbed off of him, heading to our restroom and thoroughly rinsing any leftover blood from my mouth or face. 

"Hey, Toru?"

"Mhm?"

"Someone said that you have some visitors?"

"Who."

"Three kids."

"Kids?"

"Well. Adolescents." My husband called from our bedroom. I finished rinsing my mouth before grinning, licking my lips and fangs. That craving for blood returning. Children's blood was special. It couldn't compare to anyone else's.

"How interesting. I haven't had the opportunity to feed on someone so young in a while."
