Naomi's POV
Puckering up my lips I applied some lipstick as I stared I heard one of the girls make silly noises in the background. "Mena!" I shouted, "Can you—" I stopped myself as I saw him come in.
"I got it," he picked her up and started cradling her. "So where is it that you're going?"
"Out," He raised his eyebrow at me. The girls were almost 5 months already, and my relationship with Mena only managed to get rockier. "What, I can't go out?"
"I never said that."
"Then don't look at me like that," I slipped my coat on and rolled my eyes.
"Okay but what if—"
"You'll be fine Mena, they rarely wake up after they've been put down anymore and if they do theres milk in the fridge, just stick the bottle in the—"
"The microwave for 30 seconds and shake, I know Naomi, I've only been sleeping downstairs I haven't forgotten how to do anything."
"Just making sure..." Suddenly I heard my phone vibrate. "Listen I've got to go, you'll be fine, just... sleep in here if you want too today and I'll take the guest bedroom."
"No its fine I'll just keep the door open,"
"Whatever you want, I guess." My phone buzzed again. " Look I'll probably be late, and if I'm not here then I probably stayed over at Liv's. If anything happens call Nan, she said she could take care of them in case you were busy which shouldn't be a problem considering you've gone out 10 times in the past month?" Rolling his eyes he shrugged, "Thought so," I quickly ran up to the crib and gave both of the girls a kiss. "I love you my princesses, sleep tight."
Grabbing my things I ran downstairs and hopped in Liv's car. "What took you so long, it's been almost 8 minutes."
"I know I'm sorry I was telling Mena what to do if the girls woke up and stuff,"
"Girl you're way too into mom mode, how long has it been since you've had a proper outing?"
"Since before the girls were born probably," I pressed my lips together.
"See, you've got to unwind, have some fun, get cute boys," she raised her eyebrows up at me.
"Stop I can't focus on that right now,"
"Why? You're single aren't you?" I shrugged my shoulders. "Well, I know of one guy that would die to spend another night with you," she said as she parked in front if the club.
I followed her out of the car and inside "Another?"
Walking in I saw Tiffany with some of our friends and cousins and to my surprise... "Jordan," I said walking up to him.
"Nay," he smiled at me as he greeted Liv with a kiss on the cheek. Quickly she turned around and winked at me.
"What are you doing here?"
"Liv said I should come and since Isaac and Nick were gonna be here I said sure. I just didn't think they'd come with girlfriends," he chuckled.
"Oh, well that's fine, none of us brought anyone." I signalled at the girls, "Listen I'm going to get a drink," he nodded.
Walking up to the bar I got my stuff and sat there for a second. This felt so weird, I haven't been sat at a bar, much less a club in so long. Tapping my phone I looked at my home-screen. Being a mom definitely changed everything... out of the blue I felt a tap on my shoulder.
"You a mum?" A pretty handsome guy said as he sat next to me.
"Yeah, actually."
"You look like it."
