Chapter 8 Dancing in the Sandy Crab Club

"Ok..." said Hordette after that moment of sugary tenderness "So, how are we going to Beast Island, exactly?".
Finn said that there was a space ship in the castle that they could use.
"Great idea! We can use the closely guarded space ship that we don't even know how to drive!" Said Cupid with a sarcastic tone.
They obviusly couldn't use the space ship, so they needed another ride.
Hordette thought about what to do. She looked at the fountain in the bedroom, observing the jasmine petals floating in it and she had an idea.
"If we can't get there by flying, we could do it by sailing!" She said.
Finn swallowed. The thought of beeing on a tiny boat, surrounded by kilometres of water, was making their furr stand on end.
"Can't we find another way?" They asked.
Hordette and Cupid shook their heads. Even Rose Bud did it too.
"Fine!" Finn jabbed with their ears down in resignation.

Catra arrived as fast as she could in the meeting room. Glimmer and Bow were already there with Adora.
"What's wrong? Someone is attacking us?" Asked Catra.
Glimmer pointed at the table: a light was blinking, it meant that there was an urgent call from another kingdom.
Bow openned the call. An holographic screen appeared in the center of the room, showing that the ones who were calling were Entrapta and Hordak.
They were all surprised by that call since they haven't seen those two in years.
"Entrapta? Is that you?!" Glimmer almost didn't recognized her, she looked older, while Hordak did not changed a bit.
"Hi, Glimmer! It's nice to see you. Hey, Bow! Adora! Catra! How's it going?" Entrapta was so happy to see her friends again "Have you seen Hordette and Emily?" She asked.
"I'm sorry, Horde-who?" Adora asked.
"Hordette! Our daughter. Emily's littlest sister. They went together at Princess Prom and they didn't come back" Entrapta explained.
Glimmer, Bow, Adora and Catra were speachless. They couldn't belive that Entrapta had a daughter with Hordak. Not just that, this Hordette was also at Princess Prom and they didn't knew it.
Catra suddenly had a realization, remembering the familiar smell in Finn's bedroom. And that blanket she saw, it was just like Entrapta's hair.
She told it to her friends and they all went to check if it was true.
But when they entered, the bedroom was empty. Not Finn, or Cupid, nor even Hordette were there anymore.
Bow and Glimmer went to look in their son's bedroom but they weren't there neither.
Their children went looking for someone who could bring them to Beast Island.
They went in one of the most famous clubs in Salineas, frequented by many experienced mariners: the Sandy Crab Club.
That night, one of the most popular bands in the kingdom performed there, and there were a lot of young people too.
"This isn't a place for kids" Finn said, talking about Rose Bud, who was cuddling in Hordette's arms.
"No one is going to notice her, trust me" said Cupid. He meant that everybody would look at Hordette.
Cupid tried to cover her with his cape.
"Let's try to stay in the shadows. Don't walk away, and don't talk to strangers!" Cupid warned her.
They entered in the club, full of people.
The loud music and the lights gave the headache.
They were keeping the distance from the croud that was dancing.
"I want to dance so bad!" Said Finn.
"No, Finn! We're not here to have fun!" Remembered Cupid.
Hordette had never listened to that kind of music before.
Her foot was beating in time to the rhythm of the drums and she moved her head back and fronth, slowly uncovering her hair.
Hordette was trying to stay focused, but she couldn't resist any longer.
"Here. Hold her for a moment!" She gave Rose Bud to Cupid.
Finn brought her on the dance floor and they started to dance.
Hordette was feeling a little embarassed, even if no one was minding her.
"Let yourself go!" Said Finn.
Hordette began to move, she was a bit rigid but after a while she softened.
She was dancing, just like others. She was surrounded by people and no one was making bad comments about her. She felt so normal in that moment.
Cupid was watching them from afar. He was angry because Finn left him behind to go dance with Hordette.
"Can you belive this?" He asked to Emily.
But Finn didn't forgot about him.
"Hey, Cupid~!" They said, making stupid looks.
Finn motioned him to join the dance.
"Come on, prince~!".
Cupid blushed. Emily pushed him on the dance floor.
Now they were all dancing with the croud. Even Rose Bud was dancing with Finn while Cupid was holding her.
