Chapter 12 Connection

The next day, Hordette and the others were continuing their journery.
Hordette and Sirenella were checking the map. By what Sirenella said, they would have reach Beast Island by sunset.
After hearing that, Finn made a lament.
"Are we really going to spend an entire day on this ship, surrounded by water and with nothing to eat then rice crackers!?".
"What were you expecting, Finn? A cruise?" Cupid asked to them.
He made the girls laugh.
Finn went to the parapet and looked at the calm sea.
There was no sign of bad weater. Not a cloud in the sky. Even their fear of the water was nothing compaired to their boredom.
"This journery could be a lot better if we could eat. . ."
Finn saw a pack of big fishes, jumping out of the water, next to the ship.
"Fish! Delicious fish! Thank you! Do we have a net or something like that?" .
Sirenella shook her head.
"Maybe Cupid can help" said Hordette.
Cupid pointed at himself.
"You could use your crossbow to fish" Hordette wanted to give to him a chance.
With her hair, she got Cupid in front of the parapet.
"Alright then. . . Let's give it a try. . ." said the boy.
"Wait, you need something to tie to the arrow" Finn was looking for a rope.
Little Rose Bud had a long, sky blue, filament.
They took it, thinking it was just a colored string, and tied it to Cupid's arrow.
The boy was hoping with all his heart to catch at least one fish.
He shot the arrow.
The string that Finn tied to it, was actually a lock of hair of Hordette, and she almost fell out of the ship.
She was saved by Cupid and Finn that, with the help of Sirenella, were able to keep her aboard.
It wasn't easy, since Hordette was the biggest.
After they saved her from falling into the ocean, they sat downd and took a sigh of relief.
Hordette wanted to check the condition of the hair and she discovered that Cupid got two fishes with one arrow.
Both Finn and Sirenella congratulated with him.
"You did it!" Said Finn, hugging their best friend.
Cupid was so happy. It made Hordette feelhappy too.
He exchanged a look with her and they smiled at each other.
"We have to do this again! Hordette, give me your hair!" Said Finn.
"Forget it" answered Hordette.

The princesses had sent the guards of each one of their kingdoms to look for the children. They were trying to reconstruct their path after Princess Prom.
Thanks to the guards of Salineas, they knew that their children had been at the Sandy Crab Club and met up with Sirenella.
"When we arrived, we were informed that a ship was missing, Your Majesty" said one of the guards to Mermista.
So they knew their kids had stolen a ship and sailed to who-knows-where.
"I could try to connect with my daughter. It could help us to find their location" Hordak suggested.
"Why haven't you try it before!?" Asked Glimmer.
"Because the connection only lasts a few seconds" Said Hordak.
"And it's clear that they don't want us to find them: if they found out we're after them, they could try to divert their tracks" Said Catra. It was just what Hordak was about to say.
"Interesting. It seems that you still think like a Force Captain" He said by giving a cold look to her. "But she's right. If I connect with Hordette, she'll noticed it immediately".
They were out of options, so they told Hordak to try.
He closed his eyes and concentrated.
The others were looking at him, wondering if it would have worked.
He was able to see through his daughter eyes, that she was with the rest of the children.
"I see them. They're all together on the stoled ship" Hordak was saying to the princesses, keeping his eyes closed "They're eating. I can smell the food. . .".
"Well, they are not starving, at least" said Bow.
"Where are they going?" Asked Perfuma.
Hordak could hear the ocean, and their voices. They were talking about the sunset, a map, and an island.
"Beast Island! They're directed to Beast Island" He said.
"No, they're not!" Said Mermista. She grabbed Hordak by an ear and started to scream into it "Sirenella! Don't go to Beast Island! Have you heard me!?"
Scorpia did it too "ROSE BUUUUUD! IT'S MOMMAAAA!".
Entrapta told them both to stop screaming into his lab partner's ears.
Just like Hordak said, Hordette realized that they were connected.
"Father!?" She said, allarming the other teens.
Hordak had to break the connection.
So the adults knew that their children were going to Beast Island, and the teens knew their parents have caught them.
"Our parents know where we are going. They are coming for us now?" Asked Cupid to the others.
Hordette went to the fore of the ship "It doesn't matter. We have arrived" she said.
In front of them there was Beast Island.
