Chapter 18 A sword and a soul

Glimmer watched him flew around the room, like a falcon above his pray.
"Finn, now!" Cupid said.
Finn was hiding from under the throne. They jumped above the heads of the adults and grabbed the sword of She-ra. When they took it, Cupid grabbed them for the hands and they flew away from the arches.
"Finn!" Adora called them.
After that, Emily returned to her normality. It was all just a scene that the two teens planned to get the sword.
"Glimmer! Did you see that?" Bow asked to her wife.
"I did!" She said.
"Our boy has wings!".
"He does!".
They were so happy.
"Where are they going with Adora' sword!?" Catra asked.
The two teens were derected to Dryl.
They arrived at the castle and got welcomed in by Wrong Hordak, after they told him they were friends with Hordette.
"I'm so glad Hordette finally made some real friends! That's what her parents were hoping for her. For what reason did you say they made you come here?" He asked to them.
"To take some clothes to her!" Finn answered.
"We're making a slumber party!" Cupid added.
Wrong Hordak looked at them with his blue, innocent eyes; they were both smiling too much.
"Magnificent!" He exclaimed without any doubt "The laundry robot just finished ironing her clothes. I'm going to make her backpack".
So Wrong Hordak went to Hordette's bedroom, and they took the chance to sneak away.
"We don't even know where the portal is!" Cupid said.
"But we can find it. Hordette said that her parents haven't worked on the project in a long time. We just need to find the lab with the least trace of their smell" Finn used their nose and followed the smell until they could.
The trace of the scent lead them to the door of a locked lab.
"We need a code to get in? Why do they need so many codes?!" Cupid complained.
Finn used the sword of their mom to make a passage.
"After you, your Highness" Finn bow to him.
The lab was as dark as Hordak Sanctorum.
Fortunatelly, they had the sword to light up a little.
They found the portal, covered with a long, dusty sheet.
It was really never activated before, but it looked fine.
"I've found it, you make it work" Finn said to Cupid.
The boy had sufficient experience with machine to know how to make it work.
The portal was almost ready, there was only one last thing they needed to do to activate it: Finn had to place the sword inside a slot connected to the portal, like a real key in a lock.
"You have to turn it on your right" Cupid said "After that there is no turning back".
"Good. We don't need it" Finn said with confidence.

Glimmer teleported herself and the best friends squad to Dryl.
They acceded into Entrapta's castle to find their children before it was too late.
They figured out that there was only one thing the two teens were going to do with the sword. Catra was the first who thought about it.
"We need to find them quickly! We can't let them open another portal!" Bow said.
Just like Finn did, Catra followed the scent of her child and found the lab where they were located.
"Finn! Don't do it!" Catra shouted when she and the others crossed the passage in the door.
But it was too late indeed.
They already turned the key and the portal was activated right in front of them.
The portal was working, but in a different way they imagined it would have worked.
It wasn't attracting things to it, it was pushing them away.
It felt like an hot wind that was warming their bodies.
From the portal, someone went out, and then the machine went off by itself.
The person that had just appeared, walked to the two teens: it was a woman, a very tall one, with beautiful wings and long hair.
Catra and the others couldn't belive their eyes.
Glimmer had them full of tears.
The woman approached Cupid and gently placed her hand on his cheek. Her hand was so soft and it was trembling.
Cupid looked into her eyes, full of love.
"Grandma Angella?" Cupid asked, incredulous.
Angella smiled through her tears of joy.
"Yes, dear!" She said "I'm grandma!".
Cupid and Angella hugged each other.
Finn watched them, smiling and crying in the same time.
"Mom!" Glimmer cried as she rushed toward her mom to hug her.
"I can't belive it's really happening! Mom, I've missed you so much!".
"I've missed you too, Glimmer! I swear I haven't stopped hoping for this moment not even for a second!".
Bow and Adora went to hug Angella.
"Bow, my sweet boy! What and handsome man you've became!" Angella said to Bow, who was crying like a baby.
"Adora! Thank you for taking care of my Glimmer!" She gived to her a special hug.
