Draco POV

I was laying down in my bed, staring off to space after getting back from eating dinner, when Blaise, Theo and Jackson all came rushing into mine and Blaise's dorm.

"Dumbledore needs us." Blaise said through gasps of air. I scoff and roll over, turning my back towards them.

"It's about Cynthia." he adds. I shoot up out of bed and throw my shoes on before grabbing my wand and walking towards them. They all look at me in shock. Bloody nitwits. "Well, hurry the fuck up!" I exclaimed, beckoning towards the door.

We all rush out and meet the girl portion of Morningstar's little lot before going to Dumbledore's office.

When we get there and take our seats,  Dumbledore clears his throat; planning out his next words carefully.

"Cynthia will be coming back tomorrow. As you all know, her father recently passed away. You also know that Cynthia is a very temperamental, very easily aggravated, extremely independent young witch. She may not want to speak to anyone for a while, and it is your job as her friends to respect that. Do not rush her into anything. Also, make sure she isn't provoked. We all know how angry she can get, and it can get dangerous. Do not act too different, that'll possibly upset her. Just don't be too forward. Especially you, Theodore." Dumbledore lectured. Theo scoffed at the last part.

"It's not me you have to worry about upsetting her," he gestured to me, "it's Malfoy." he stated.

Before I could threaten him, Dumbledore spoke again. "Well, seeing as Draco is the one who was there for her the night she found out, I believe he knows better than to do anything to upset her." Dumbledore defended.

"You'd be surprised." Jackson whispered. I shot out of my seat and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, yanking him off of his seat on the sofa. "Say that shite again, Nott. Watch how fucking quick I knock your arse out." I seethed angrily.

Blaise stood up and pulled me back as Theo did the same with Jackson. I rolled my shoulders back before walking over to my seat.

"She'll be back in the morning. I'm going to have Cedric get her from where she's been hiding and take her to the Slytherin common room since tomorrow's Saturday." Dumbledore continued.

"Wait. DIGGORY KNOWS WHERE SHE IS?" I shout with clenched fists. "No, Draco. Only I do. I'm going to tell him where she is so he can go get her." he explained. I huff and cross my arms.

"Draco. Have you heard from her?" Dumbledore asks. I almost asked if he was daft, until I realized what he meant. I shook my head. "No. I asked her where she was and she told me to leave her alone." I said, looking down.

"You talked to her?" Jackson chimed. "Mind your business." I hissed.

After Dumbledore was done talking to us, we all headed back to the common room.

Cynthia POV

Today was the day I would be going back to the real world from my safe little hiding place that is my therapists dorm.

I told Beth I would see her next week for therapy and said my goodbyes. I walked over to the door and took a shaky deep breath before twisting the knob and pulling the door opened.
