We land in Diagon Alley and I let go of my mother's hand after catching my balance. We look around the busy area and stand over to the side in an alley way.
I look up at Malfoy to see him staring down at my bare thighs, just like he had when we apparated to the Quidditch World Cup. I tug my skirt down, still looking into his eyes, and he immediately looks up at me and meets my gaze as he smirks.
"Where to first?" my mother asks, glancing between Malfoy and I.
"Obscurus." we say in unison.
My mother nods and the four of us make our way to the bookshop.
Once we get there, I go to my favorite section and look for a book. I find a book of poetry that varies from nature to tragedy, and I walk back to find my mother and Cissy.
Once I find them, I walk over to them and wave the book in the air. Malfoy soon comes up beside me and does the same thing. I get a quick glance at the book and recognize it; It's on my bookshelf in my bedroom.
"That's a good one." I said, gesturing to his book. He glanced over at the book in my hands and raises his brows. "So is that one."

After we buy our books, my mother insists that I go shopping for gowns. "Mother, I have numerous gowns at home! I don't need a new one!" I reprimanded as we neared the store.
"Oh, nonsense. Another one couldn't hurt! Plus, you need a new one for the gala next month anyway. I mean, it is in your favor, after all." she claimed.
I groaned and pushed the door to the shop opened before walking in, the three following behind me. I began to walk to the long gowns when my mother steered me towards the short ones. I walked over to the shorter dresses while they waiting in the seating area of the changing rooms.
I picked out a few dresses and went to the changing area. I walked over in front of my mother and held up the three dresses. "Buy them all!" she exclaimed.
I sighed and agreed, not even bothering to try them on. As we're paying for the gowns, a woman calls from behind us. "Katherine?" she questions. My mother turns around while I stay put. That is, until I hear the name my mother says. "Parkinson." she seethes.
I snap around in a second and shove past Malfoy. The woman looks down at me and back up to my mother. "This must be your daughter. The one who likes to hit my daughter." she growls.
"Hit, punch, slap, yell at, stomp on, torture, threaten. Lots of things really." I clarify with an innocent smile. The woman gasps and my mother bites her lip to hide a smile.
"Oh shut it, Morningstar." Parkinson snapped from beside her mother. I turn my gaze to her and eye her up and down in disgust.
"Parkinson, please note that I will not hesitate to slaughter you in front of our mothers." I sneered.
Parkinson rolled her eyes but shut up. Her gaze then fell behind me on Malfoy. "Draco? What are you doing here with her?" she asked angrily.
"Oh relax, Parkinson. Our moth-" I started.
"I'm spending the day with her, obviously. Quit being childish, Parkinson. That's why I dumped you in the first place." Malfoy interrupted, turning his nose up in the air. I turned my shocked expression over to him; he was aggravated.
"Do not speak to my daughter like that!" the woman snapped at Malfoy. Cissy then stepped forward. "Rose. Do you remember when Kat and I kicked your arse back in Hogwarts? Well if you and your hideous child do not leave this instant, history shall repeat." Cissy warned.
