After opening all of my presents, I go back upstairs to get dressed. I don't actually understand why we're going so early when dinner is at seven, but I decide not to question it.
I pick out a simple green dress with black heels and a black fur coat. After I apply my makeup, I put on my outfit and spray myself in my signature Dior J'Adore perfume. I cast a charm over my dark mark to keep it covered before sticking my wand in my pocket and walking downstairs.

When I get downstairs, my mother is waiting for me by the fireplace. She's wearing a long black gown that squeezes her body and shows off her curves.

"You look gorgeous, mum." I say as I walk up to her. She looks up from the ground and looks over at me with a smile.
"Thank you, dear. So do you." she says.
I thank her and place a kiss on her cheek before she turns to me. "Alright, you first." she instructs, beckoning to the fireplace.
I step in and grab and handful of floo dust before exclaiming 'Malfoy Manor' and throwing the powder on the ground.

I step out of the fireplace and dust myself off before studying my surroundings. Malfoy Manor was decorated much like Morningstar Manor, except some of the decorations were different. My mother appears shortly after and grips my hand before leading down a corridor.
I've been here before, but I've only been in the foyer and kitchen, so I'm not necessarily familiar with the spacious manor.
We arrive at a door and my mother knocks twice before walking in. Cissy is sitting at a desk in formal attire, looking down at something. She then looks up at us and smiles.
"Kat! Cynthia! Hello!" she exclaims as she gets up from the desk and walks over to us. Cissy and my mother place kisses on each other's cheeks before Cissy turns to me and gives me a hug. "How are you doing, Cynthia?" she asks as she pulls away from the hug.
"I'm good, Cissy. And you?" I reply.
"I'm good as well." She says with a smile that doesn't quite reach her eyes. She then summons a house elf and it appears before us.
