I don't like anyone in the Toppat Clan, and even if I did it would one hundred percent NOT be him! And even if I did have a hypothetical crush on him, why in the world would I tell you?! You're just some random guy I play cards with when I'm stuck in the infirmary! So you can't come up to me and claim I like Icepick, when I CLEARLY don't!"

James and Lance met in the hospital wing, as James practically lives there and Lance is always getting into fights. One day, Icepick gets sick and stuck in the infirmary with them, and James notices Lance watching Icepick with a blush. James asks Lance about it, and Lance repeatedly denies it, but he obviously is lying.
