"Comin'!" I yell... I go to the front door and open it. I see Cross.. My best bruh. It's been a long time since we hung out. I smile.
Then my smile quickly falters when I see his hand is around someone's shoulder. It's Dream.
"Hey dude. Long time no see."
Cross greets me.
Later
We were all sitting down in the living room. Cross' arm is still around Dream's shoulder.
"Sooo..... Why the sudden visit?"
I ask. "Welllll.........." He trails off... He then look at Dream. Said ball of energy nods. Cross sighs...
"Well, I came to tell you that I quit Nightmare's gang." He told me. I smile. "Well, that just means we can hang out more, bruh." "Well the thing is uhhhh..."
He trails off again. He, once again, looks at Dream. This time, the yellow skele raised his nonexistant eyebrows. Cross sighs again... "Me and Dream are dating." My eye socket widen......
"I-I... Th-that's great news bruh! Never knew you were gay but I support you, bruh!" I struggle to keep my smile. "Thanks dude. You've always been supportive."
"Hol' up, I think I forgot my phone in my room! 'Imma go on ahead and get it!" I lied.
"Sure, dude." He says buying it.
I rushed to my room and plopped down on my bed... I stare at the ceiling for a while then begin to cry. I cry for atleast 14 seconds and then I stand up and wipe my tears. I saw my phone on my bedside table. Huh. Turns out I did forget it. I grab it and head back downstairs to the living room. We talked for a while... I prerended to ship them... Even though it hurt inside. Then Cross offered to cook. I said 'okay' and then he went to the kitchen, which is a seperate room, to cook.
"Hey, Epic."
"H-hi."
"You're looking down, what's wrong."

"Nothing." I said. Annoyance clear in my voice.
"Oh... Okay..." He says. His posture slumps down for a bit, but he quickly sat straight.
