My Little Dragon

Chapter 6

Blake and yang returned from the woods. Their eyes landed on Weiss and Ruby. "Weiss!" They both yelled in unison as they knelt beside the whiterose duo. Ruby sobbed as she held Weiss close. Blake felt her pulse "she's still alive we have to get her help!" Blake said placing her hands over Weiss's wounds. Her hands became engulfed in shadows as it surrounded Weiss's wound. "That should stop the bleed for a few hours but we have to hurry..." Blake said as yang pulled out the map. "There's a village about two miles away we can get help there," yang said in a serious and worried tone. Ruby sniffed slowly rising off the ground holding Weiss in her arms. Ruby ran ahead carrying Weiss as she ran in the direction yang pointed out.
After a few minutes they made it to the village it didn't take them long since Ruby sprinted the whole way. Ruby snuck around so no one would see Weiss. Ruby snuck into the small infermary of the town. She burst through the door shocking the doctor behind the counter. "PLEASE HELP!" Ruby yelled her legs barely holding her. The doctor stood up as Ruby slowly placed Weiss on a bed. He was shocked "I...is she a...dragon!?" He asked in shock as he backed away a bit. "Yes she is but please...help her...please..." Ruby begged falling to her knees. The doctor was hesitant but found compassion in his heart. He got some tools and bandages to patch Weiss up. Ruby sat on a chair next to where Weiss was lying.
Yang and Blake arrived a little later breathing heavily. The doctor told them to go into the other room since her had to do some really bloody work. Ruby paced back and forth not able to relax. Yang and Blake were also worried but were also very concerned about Ruby. About an hour later the doctor came out removing his bloody gloves. "How is she!?" Ruby asked egearly with worry written all over face. The doctor gave her a small smile "she's going to be ok...but she needs rest..." He said wiping some sweat off his forehead.
Ruby let out a sigh of relief "thank you so much..." Ruby thanked tears of happiness falling from her eyes. The doctor smiled "no problem and...I won't say anything about your...friend," he said with a small smile. The three teens sighed in relief as they stood up. "You kids should come tomorrow morning the inn is just a short walk from here I'll take care of her," the doctor said with a grin. Yang and Blake smiled as they turned to leave. Ruby was about to follow but she turned back to look at the man. "Um...what's your name sir?" Ruby asked curiously.
"Pietro polendina it nice to meet you," pietro said with a grin. "I'm Ruby...thank you for everything..." Ruby said a single tear falling down her cheek.

Ruby couldn't sleep that night she was used to having Weiss sleeping next to her. Ruby tossed and turned trying to fall asleep but couldn't. Ruby groaned as she stood up from her bed. 
She walked down the empty streets sitting in the town square. Ruby sighed sitting down "Weiss...she got hurt because I couldn't defend myself...she...I promised I would protect her but...I didn't..." Ruby growled in her head. Ruby sighed and then remembered what Weiss had told her. "I love you Ruby..." Weiss's voice sang in her head. Ruby felt her cheeks heat up her heart pounded in her chest. "...fuck...I'm gay..." Ruby thought as she covered her eyes with her hands. She began to remember all the times she had with Weiss.
