Ruby slowly awoke that morning feeling groggy. Ruby looked next to her to see Weiss sleeping peacefully next to her. Ruby smiled and gently pulled her closer. Weiss in her sleep wrapped her tail around Ruby's waist. Ruby blushed "aw~ my cute little dragon~" Ruby thought as she kissed Weiss's forehead. Weiss buried her head into the crook of Ruby's neck sending shivers through the younger girl. Ruby smiled and closed her eyes once again. An hour later everyone woke up. Ruby packed and felt like someone was glaring at her. She looked behind and saw winter glaring at her. Ruby felt chills run through her body she timidly waved at winter earning a even colder glare. Ruby gulped and walked over to Weiss. "I don't think your sister likes me..." Ruby mumbled handing Weiss her coat. "What do you mean?" Weiss asked her tail twitching. Ruby pointed back to winter who was still glaring. Weiss sighed "she's not used to humans... especially after what she's been through...so just give her some time to warm up to you...I did," Weiss said sweetly walking over to Blake. Ruby thought for a moment and sighed glancing back at winter one more time. Ruby read her spell book as they flew to the next town since they forget to get supplies at the last town because well...they didn't have time they were to busy trying not to get shot. Ruby grew excited as she want to try some new magic. "Weiss look!" Ruby said excitedly standing up. Weiss and yang looked at her confused. Ruby jumped off of Blake and fell down to the clouds. "RUBY!" yang and Weiss yelled in a panic. "Hey guys!" Ruby's voice could be heard from behind them. Ruby was their with a large pair of wings. "Heh what do you think wing magic!" Ruby cheered flying over them. Yang and Weiss let out a sigh of relief. "Ruby you idiot! You scared the hell out of up!" Weiss yelled angrily. Ruby chuckled landing and as she did the wings disappeared. "Sorry Weiss I just wanted to try out my new magic I'm getting a lot better at it," Ruby said sitting back down. Whitly stared in awe. "How did you do that?" He asked in amazement. Ruby grinned "I used magic," Ruby answered simply. Whitly's eyes lit up "but I thought only dragons could do magic," he asked looking to Weiss. "Well Ruby's hard headed and doesn't give up so she managed to do it," Weiss said looking to Ruby. Whitly smiled brightly "that's so cool!" He cheered his tail wagging. Winter stayed silent but just stared at Ruby keeping her glare.
About five whole hours later they found a town. Ruby looked to winter and whitly "ok so you guys are gonna hide your horns and tail so we won't get chased out of this town," Ruby instructed handing them some cloaks. Weiss went with her siblings to get them some cloths.

Ruby was on her own since Blake and yang went to a café. Ruby walked through the little village filled with more peaceful people then the last one. No one paid her much mind as she looked around. She sat in the small park of the town under a tree. She pulled out her journal and began writing about winter and whitly.
"Winter and whitly are Weiss's siblings and whitly seems pretty nice...but I don't think winter likes me. Winter seems to be the older than Weiss, and not very social to anyone. She seems to hate me the most I'm not sure why... It might be because she seems to have been treated badly by humans so I understand her distrust. I just hope she'll warm up to me soon.
