Chapter Twenty One: Getting To Know The Others

Today Diana just wanted to hang out with a few of her friends she has made on the team. And she wanted me to come with her obviously.

She was quite clingy to me... not that I minded. It was quite cute to me.

Her friends were Bonnie, Nora and Paris at the moment. Well, that sounded like she was going to change friends soon which I doubted. I just meant that she was going to be adding more to that friendship list.

I mean she's an amazing person so she'll obviously make more friends. Sadly, she doubts she will but I'll help her with her confidence regarding that part of her life.

They were sitting on a random table in the cafeteria. I mean it's probably not random for them since it would be a table they probably sat at most of the time.

Honestly, I have never spent lunch here since of how... loud and chaotic it can be. But I can always try new things, I guess.

Bonnie was on the left of one side of the table who was eating a few cupcakes from the cafeteria. Paris was next to Bonnie who was eating a shit ton of fries and a hamburger. And Nora was eating some fruit and a salad.

I noticed how Nora had a pencil and a brown journal next to her while the other two didn't really have anything noticeable with them.

Diana and I sat across from them and Diana started talking to them. I kept quiet like I usually did and had small talks with some of the others and answered when I was asked something.

Paris quickly stood up from her chair, and it gained not only the whole table's attention but the attention of a few tables around us. She then quickly sat down and didn't say anything until a few minutes later.

"What about we suggest something we collect, hobbies or something along those lines to get to know each other," Paris suggested and we all mumbled a quick yeah. "Okay, I'll go first."

"I like collecting coins. It's more of the fact that I like getting a coin from each year or just collecting rare ones. I don't know why I love collecting them but I just do," Paris added, and I looked at her in curiosity.

I have never met someone who likes collecting coins but it was intriguing to me. It was intriguing and interesting to me.

"How many do you have?" I asked and continued, "Of coins I mean."

"Over a few hundred for sure and about a hundred of them would be rare ones," Paris said and I raised my eyebrows at her.

"Damn... if you have that many rare ones they must have cost a lot of money," Diana stated and she literally saying what I was going to say.

"Oh trust me they did. I don't know how much and honestly I rather not know how much money I spent on coins," Paris said half jokingly and half serious. We laughed alongside her.

"Okay Nora your turn!" Paris said nudging Nora gently.

"My favourite hobby is drawing. I really prefer drawing in a style rather than a realistic one. I'm actually working on a comic at the moment that I hope to finish," Nora said, and I looked at her and nodded my head.

"Do you mind if we saw any of them?" Diana asked.

"Go ahead. You don't need to show Bonnie and Paris they've already seen all of my drawings," Nora said shrugging and handed us the brown journal I saw earlier.

Diana took the journal lightly and placed it on the cafeteria table. It was right between us and she opened the first page. It had some words on the front saying 'Nora's sketching and planning book,' writing in a cursive way.
