Chapter Forty Eight: Double Date?
Turns out I pissed off Lilly's cousin. That person who wanted to stab me was in front Lilly's cousin. Wow. That whole family is clearly fucked up.
So goddamn fucked up.
It had been a week since that whole incident happened and due to how serious it was... we all (Gwen, the girl and I) had to get a restraining order on those four girls.
When we got back to the court where Aryana and the others were. They all noticed something was wrong. Gwen and this random girl that was hugging Gwen were shaken up.
I explained the situation to them all. And I'm pretty sure they all thought that I was okay beside Diana. She was really the only one beside Gwen, Sarah and Aryana who noticed something was up with me.
And I mean, I was fine, mostly. I just felt like I should have done something. That maybe I should have ignored that gut feeling and helped Sarah even if it meant that I got stabbed.
When Aryana heard what happened she made Gwen and I follow her towards one of the coaches who would take us to the higher ups. Sarah was getting comforted by Diana. The others were on the look out in case those girls showed up.
When we told the coach, she got a few others to stay with our team and lead us two to the higher ups where we played the recording.
And the look in their eyes were indescribable. Any games for the rest of the day was cancel and as you know the police got involved. And the rest of that day is basically history.
The Sarah girl had only recently joined that group a few weeks prior. She was the basically manipulated and threatened into that group.
So she joined.
She had no idea what they were going to do. They wouldnt tell her their plans until that moment we all heard. Sarah's parents decided it was best that they just upped and moved.
They didn't want their daughter in any danger whatsoever.
We ended up getting Sarah's number and Gwen and I text her pretty often. We ended up all become friends after that incident which is kind of funny to think.
I told her that I felt bad that I didn't do anything and apologised. And she had and still tells me that its not my fault. It will never be my fault and she would have done the same as me if she was in my situation.
It has helped with the guilt a bit.
"Hey Quinn guess what?" Sonya asked excitedly and took me out of my dream like state.
I turned my head in their direction.
"Guess what?" I asked with a dumbfound look on my face as they stared at me.
"Guess what we have to tell you." Sonya added.
I stared at them for longer this time. I noticed how they were closer together and noted how they have been acting in school. They acted like how Diana and I acted when we got together.
"That you guys are together?" I replied with my eyebrow raised. Sonya's and Alanna's eyes widen.
"Wait! How did you know?" Alanna asked but it could barely be heard by what Sonya said.
"You ruined the surprised." Sonya whined at the same time Alanna said her previous statement. I raised an eyebrow at her.
"One. It was pretty obvious to another gay person. And two, do you want me to redo the surprised, Sonya?" I questioned as I wrote down one of the answers to a question in my text book.
