Chapter Forty Seven: Who Did I Piss Off?

"So... anything interesting happening lately?" Gwen asked as we walked towards the basketball stadium and I glanced down at her.

"One annoying thing." I stated and readjusted my backpack while we got closer to the stadium. We were the last off of the bus because we decided to help out and grab a few things.

"What happened?"

"You know Alya Gold?" I stated and her eyes widen as I said the name. "I got paired up with her for History."

"You mean THE Alya Gold?" She stated and I nodded my head. "Sheesh. Fuck. You got paired up with that bitch. How is it going?"

"She won't do ANYTHING. She expects me to do it all while she spends it texting her friends and planning parties. She treats me like a fucking pet."

"Fuck that girl. What are you going to do about it?" Gwen asked and I shrugged my shoulders.

"I already have a plan."

"Ooooo," She said and looked at me in excitement. "What is it?"

"Let's just say when we have the presentation. I'm going to make it very clear that I did all the work and not her." I stated with a smirk on my face as we entered the building.

"Hey," A voice called out in a sickly sweet tone that I didn't recognise. Gwen and I turned around thinking we could be the people the person is calling out to.

And we were correct.

It was a group of five people all from the same team. All staring at the two of us. It reminded me very much of Anna and Lilly which I knew wasn't going to be good. They all gave me bad vibes and I didn't like it.

The middle was very clearly the leader of the group. She was obviously the one that called us out. She had a fake sweetness to her expression that you could tell was fake.

I glanced down at Gwen and she was already staring up at me. I knew she was thinking the same thing as me. She knew these people were bad news.

I looked back at the group and judging by the middle girl's foot tapping, she was getting impatient with us.

"Uh, hey. Would love to talk but we have a match really soon. Can't miss it," I stated not wanting to start something.

Usually I wouldn't mind but it was nationals and the match was indeed really soon. Sooner than I'd like. I grabbed Gwen's arm gently and began to pull her away.

"Don't walk away from me. Do you have any clue who I am?" The same girl said raising her voice.

I felt Gwen still for a second before I gently pulled her away and she continued to walk. I turned my head back to look at the girl. Now, she didn't have that 'sweet' expression on her face anymore. She now looked like she was close to exploding with rage.

"No, I do not. Bye." I called out and entered the court that we were going to play on soon.

I didn't need another Anna and Lilly situation... but I doubt the universe will listen to my pleads.

I chugged down the water that Diana gave me and I smiled at her in thanks. We had just barely won the match. Only a point ahead of the other team.

I was sweating. My head was so goddamn wet from the sweat and I hated it. I hated the feel it gave me. I walked over to my bag while I heard Aryana giving everyone a speech.
