Chapter Thirty Three: Aryana's Party

"So... should we get going?" I asked Diana as I fidgeted with the strapped that was attaché to my bag. The same bag that contained  Aryana's birthday present.

She nodded her head telling me that she's already to go so we did. We began to walk in the now, correct direction of Aryana's house.

Before we ended up possibility getting lost. Okay, we did get lost but, now we were on the right track and it was at the end of the street so, there's no way we can get lost.

I glanced back at Diana to see that she was tensed up, she was glancing at the streets with rich houses. Aryana obviously living in a RICH neighbour. I wouldn't be surprised if she lived in a mansion for all I know.

"You okay there?" I asked her, and she looked at me.

"Yeah, it's just a little... weird." Diana commented and I nodded my head understanding that it can be for a lot of people.

"It's can be a little weird and unusual or some people. It's understandable," I reassured her that everything's all fine. She glanced at me quickly.

"How come you aren't weirded out," She commented and I raised my eyebrow at her.

"When you have a rich father you tend to live in a rich neighbour. When my father got with his ex girlfriend she persuaded him to get a mansion. I never stayed there long before I got sent to a boarding school as usual," I stated while shrugging my shoulders.

"That must suck doesn't it?" She replied and I shrugged my shoulder.

"Never really liked the idea of living in a mansion. Sure, it would be a good flex on people if you were a dick. But I found it mostly a waste of space and money." I commented and looked down at her.

I saw that she nodded her head as stopped in front of Aryana's house... well, mansion. At least I was correct in some sort of fucked up way.

Music was blasting and although the place was huge, there wasn't a lot of people like I had expected. The place could easily fit a few hundred yet there only looked up to be fifty people.

I felt a hand brush against mine.

Diana grabbed my hand... it was like a way to help comfort her. She was obviously uncomfortable being in such a rich area yet alone with others she didn't know.

I squeezed her hand to let her know that I was here and everything was going to be okay. She didn't need to stress too much. I knew everyone wanted her to have a good time.

After all the whole and only the basketball team were going to have a sleepover. Hopefully she would feel more at least by then.

I glanced back at our hands together, she always did it but now it had a different feeling all together. It was now warmer, it now gave a sort of comfort you couldn't describe.

It was like the comfort that now I knew she returned the feelings and I wasn't just liking someone who didn't like me.

Diana and I decided to just go slow with things. It was a new thing for Diana and the same sex relationship deal. For me my last same sex relationship didn't end well.

We walked into the mansion to see people comfortably wondering around the place. It was difficult finding Aryana in such a big place but we eventually did.

"Diana! Quinn!" Aryana yelled slightly and her voice was filled with happiness.

"Told ya we would come. I always keep my promises although we did arrive late. We kinda got lost," I explained rubbing the back of my neck.
