I feel Louie grip my shoulders gently and pull me away. I kept my head down, ashamed of the tears, and what he must think of me. But when he lifted my head gently by my chin to make me look at him I saw nothing but concern and worry in his own shimmering eyes, and I felt a lump form in my throat.

"Athena..." He said, quietly. "Y- You were having a nightmare."

I stare at him.

Was it?

Was that a nightmare?

Or...

Was it a premonition?

I shuddered at the thought.

Louie slowly lifted a hand and tucked a strain of my hair back behind my ear.

"Your hair -" Louie began, and suddenly blushed a deep shade of red. I looked at him confused as I wiped the tears from my eyes with my sleeve.

"What about it?" I asked, with irritation in my voice.

I hated when people talk about the way I look. I get that enough from my step-mom. How ugly I looked. From Dad it was just comparison to my Mom which he never wanted to talk of about me. I know it hurts him every time he sees me, because I know I look so much like her.

"It's like... Gold. In- In the sunlight." He told me.

I quickly glance out the window.

Sure enough, it was morning and sun was pouring into the windows.

I swallow hard, not even blushing at his words for fear overlapped it.

How long was it before S.H.U.S.H comes for me?

Odds are they already know what happened with Zehra. The question was...

Who would they send to come get me?

My step-mom?

Dad?

Theo?

I shuddered again.

Louie sees this and asks what's wrong and what was my dream about. I slowly pull my knees up to my chest and hugged them close.

Memories of the nightmare kept flashing across my eyes. The knife. The blood. Louie...

I started to tremble and squeezed my eyes shut. I shake my head.

"It might help to talk about it." Louie told me, and gently touched my arm.

It was like electrical shock ran through me, warming every cell in my body.

"How -" I choke out, opening my eyes and staring at him. "How do you keep doing that?" I ask.

Louie looked at me confused.

"Do what?" He replied.

I opened my mouth to answer when a slight knock came from the door. Louie and I glanced at each other and as he slowly slid off the bed I got up and put on a robe that was hung beside the bed.

It was green and comfy and smelled like Louie.

I tried to hide my flustered face when Louie opened the door a crack and peered behind it.

"Uncle Scrooge wants you and Athena downstairs. Now." Came Huey's voice.

"Why?" Louie asked.

"Just come downstairs, Louie." Huey said in a tired voice. He peered past his brother and looked at me. "You may want to brace yourself." He warned me.
