The next morning Kenma had been looking down at his DS as he walked to the building. Kuroo was right next to him confused about the new direction, "This usually isn't the way to school." He said.
"I know." Kuroo made a confused expression. Before it turned into an angry one. "Kenma! Are you having me skip practice?!" Kuroo accused.
"What? No, I would've locked you out of my house if I wanted to skip practice." Kuroo muttered; "I know where your spare key is anyway."
"Yeah, yeah yeah." Kenma waved off as he continued to play on his DS. "But no, I'm taking Y/n to practice with us."
"Y/n?" Kuroo asked. Kenma sighed, "Kuro for someone very smart in certain aspects you can be a little dense."
"HEY! And you've never said anyone by the name of Y/n." Kenma sighed. "Kuro, think about it," Kenma said looking away from his ds towards his taller best friend.
"Is it soulmate-san?" Kuroo asked, Kenma gulped a bit. "Don't call them that."
"But I'm right!" Kuroo said. "Sure." Kename hesitated.
"Why so nervous Kenma. You afraid of them meeting me?" Kuroo teased making Kenma tense up, he rolled his eyes a little.
"No, I'm afraid you'll give them a heart attack due to the bed head," Kuroo grumbled. "You know I can't control it!"
Kenma snickered. He continued to play on his Ds, until he saw the golden letters that read: "LEVEL CLEARED."
"How do you even know where you're going?" Kuroo asked as he looked around at the unfamiliar part of his town. "I'd say it's a talent and pure luck," Kenma responded as he made his character go down a path onto the next level.
"Luck?! So do you know where we are going!" Kenma shrugged. Before Kuroo could nag him some more Kenma heard a familiar voice. Kenma looked up from his game, not before pausing it however to see you waving wildly at him.
"Kenma!" You cheered. Kenma gave a small smile before waving at you, you began rushing over to him. Kenma didn't notice how different you looked in the sunlight, the sunshine practically kissing your skin. Kenma could feel his face flush before he looked down at the ground.
Kuroo however watched the scene unfold before him. "You came!" You said. Kenma nodded trying to cool down his emotions, "What makes you think I wouldn't?" He asked calmly.
You then cleared your throat. "If you're boring I have no interest in you." You mocked him making Kenma look at you. "I don't sound like that stupid."
You were about to say something until someone else cleared their throat to get both you and Kenma's attention. "Oh, this is my friend Kuro." Kenma introduced.
"You must be soulmate-san," Kuroo said as he looked at you. Your eyes slightly resting on his bed hair taken aback by it till you raised an eyebrow before looking at Kenma. "Soulmate-san hmm?" You teased.
"No, that's just Kuro teasing," Kenma said as he shot a glare over towards the taller male. "Uh...yeah just teasing." Kuroo shivered.
You laughed as you watched Kenma's glare fade. "Well, I'm Y/n, and it's nice to meet you."
"And they're sweet! Kenma why didn't I meet them sooner?" Kuro asked as he looked at his best friend. Kenma groaned, "I'm not having this conversation in front of them." He turned around and headed in the direction of the school.
"You know I'm still here." You told him. "Why I said I wasn't gonna have the conversation in front of them," Kenma said. "Mean!"
Kuroo chuckled, "Nah, he's just embarrassed." Kuroo said. Making you let out a dramatic gasp, "Kenma! Embarrassed cause of me?"
Kenma rolled his eyes. "That's it I'm skipping." He said. "Oh no, you don't Kyanma!"
Kenma could hear your laugh he let out a small sigh. God, today was going to be a "spectacular" morning, wasn't it?
